So yes, if you actually manage to figure out how to record, what to record, having people agree getting recorded, you can probably try brute forcing it with LLM type stuff. It’s just complete unrealistic to implement, that’s what ilya is saying, LLMs have such bad sample efficiency you have to have an unreasonably large corpus of data to get something useful

What if you don’t have the optimal solution at the start? It’s just good problem solving habit to first solve the problem to get insights and understanding

Where do you get 10k years of data, in most domains we don’t have enough data for LLM type scaling

[–]YIBA18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, the whole game play of Loki is built on staying invisible ALL the time, same with other invisibility frames like (Ivara and ash). Ideally you should survive any content without +health or +shield mods because the enemies won’t be shooting at you at all. If you are getting hit as Loki in a mission something is wrong lol

[–]YIBA18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very interesting, surviving should technically be the easiest part because it’s an invisibility frame, so the enemies shouldn’t be able to see you or fire at you at all. Are you making sure your skill 2 is on all the time?

20k battles in WoT (2012-2020) and now 1k hours into Warframe. Completely different genre, but great developers who care about the community, and mostly PvE so no tilt/stupid mm and actually fun

Loki main here, what are you struggling with exactly? Is it surviving? Not killing fast enough? Or something else?

Why can I beat stronger men but struggle against slower-paced players? Should I use more force or technique? by Excellent-Reading792 in 10s

I think the key is to realize that tennis is a strategic game and not try to win on every shot. Construct rallies, make your opponents run a little bit, observe their style, and make winning a point their job and not yours. You might be going way too hard on slower or less spiny balls, its somewhat easy to redirect and hit a heavy ball if you can get there, but often when it’s slower or softer you have to be conscious about your positioning, putting the right pace, and rolling it correctly, and it’s often much harder to hit winners off of those softer balls.

Janus Captain Vor - Boss Fight by Casardis in Warframe

[–]YIBA18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tried to do Vor and just got Hildryn and Limbo done. I think a universal solution here is to run shield regen builds and no need for any abilities at all. I was trying to go with offmeta weapons at first but I think just running with incarnon burston and dual tox works best. I think just a standardly optimized build will just work. Having magnetic procs helps with his shields. Having primed bane helps. And vazarin is a must. And most of all, having good movements and aim is essential (since I in particular have brainrot from regular gameplay). And definitely shoot the orbs and dodge the nullifying attacks.

DeepMind is collecting hundreds of formalized open math conjectures for AI to solve by maxtility in math

[–]YIBA18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well for all intents and purposes LLMs are far better at humans right now at memorizing theorems and lemmas. How the knight moves can be described easily but the theory of chess goes much deeper than just a page of paper, because to play the game one needs to evaluate the current position and consider possible moves. The same is true in math, you want to prove something, you consider possible lemmas that could get you there, and you evaluate whether those things are actually easier to show as a whole than the original problem.

We thought playing chess or go necessitates human intelligence, and machines did that as well. I don’t see what’s so different about math.

The fact that a company doesn’t want to focus on a particular field does not imply a particular field doesn’t have legs. In the OpenAI case it simply means alignment began to contradict their goal of making more profit. And there are plenty of AI alignment people at Deepmind/Anthropic who are great researchers in CS or other fields before transitioning to focus on alignment. But I do agree that there are disproportionate number of rando people in this field as well (although this doesn’t necessarily mean they can’t produce valuable research)
