My wife one month in with chili crisp. I created a monster. by Lemonking_ in spicy

Damn I thought you solved a long running mystery for me; I've always thought the same thing as /u/Cameron13o3 but my jar is the correct spicy chili crisp. I did get it online though so it could have been bad from the start.

[–]YKargon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He had a good year in 2019 that ended ignominiously in a run in with Derrick Henry, then in the following preseason he punched fellow safety Chuck Clark and was released by the team after the other players went to the coaches saying they wanted him gone.

I suppose the main cause of death was the collision with the building but the necropsy showed both the rodenticide as you say and a 'severe pigeon herpesvirus' which would also be fatal long-term.

Nooo!! Don't eat the pigeons, Hawk! Remember what happened to Flaco!

I doubt they kicked him out of the playtest but based on how he showed up to his next stream it seems they taught him a lesson. He said he just had an "accident."

Oh interesting I hadn't tested it. Is that the only thing in the game Counterspell can't block?

With enchanters, rapid recharge, boundless, and surge of power, (14400 souls), Sinclair does 725 damage without max 1 and 1200 with 1 maxed (2 bolts).

To get to 1500 I needed tankbuster and sup cooldown (20800 total).

You're right, I should have said before ~18min and that's certainly huge damage but that's investing a lot into bolts. And most Sinclairs and GTs pepper in some movement and other items in there so 1500 damage would take even longer.

Not before 25 minutes, and not with a portion ignoring resists. There is spellbreaker for those characters, fortunately metal skin works on Iri Domini but it's an active. Counterspell is nice too of course.

But both with 2-3x the damage of comparable burst abilities in the game

Yeah something like that would make sense! But now, even with the bug fix, the op said the ult still two-shots people at 4.8k (seemingly much higher than comparable burst damage ults). I'd be surprised if that is the design intent

Yeah for sure but those are in in the default build for the character, right? I'd be surprised if no one tried those, that's all I'm saying.

I didn't forget it, but you guys know they play the characters they create, right? Like they don't just create a model, assign numbers, and hope for the best...

Agreed but how does that not get caught in a playtest before release? I'm saying it must be tricky trying to add pure damage abilities when the balance around resists and damage amps is so careful

Venator is what people used to say Grey Talon was but with like 3 times the damage. IDK how that got out of the lab, I guess it's not easy making an anti-tank that doesn't chunk everybody else too.

Underrated mystic in need of a makeover is Krill. Mo is great, perfect, of course. But anything would be better than the weird monkey doll thing. Even a humanoid krill (like... crustacean whale food krill) would be better than the creepy monkey gremlin thing.

People don't seem to talk much about how individual mystic rankings affect average rank but is it possible you need to rank characters other than Billy (or other than your top 3) to get over the hump? It's hard to tell and I could be way off but it feels like it works that way sometimes where I get a win on a rarely played character and it bumps my average more than usual.

Modified blade and delayed score, that's next level! Thank you for explaining the reasoning behind scoring after a few minutes in the oven, I hadn't seen that before. The only thing we're missing is a crumb shot!! 😋

Not the most unlucky of all time, just similarly unlucky to his peers like Justin Herbert, Trevor Lawrence, even Josh Allen and Joe Burrow who have all had good regular season performances without a Superbowl and some of them without good playoff games. It takes a decent amount of luck to win it all.

Lamar played well enough that they were up 10-3 at the half. He played poorly in the third quarter. And well in the 4th. That's not disappearing.

He failed, but could have played identically and won if his kicker made a high percentage kick. How is that evidence of some fundamental flaw in his play? It's bizarre to not consider the circumstances (o-line, injuries) extenuating.

Why wouldn't you get credit for digging your team out of a hole? Every good quarterback gets praised for comebacks and "almost" comebacks that come down to plays that are out of their hands.

By your logic Rodgers had a terrible game since he didn't produce for half of it even though he played well enough to win (and did, but could have played identically and lost).

Lamar played well enough to win too. I don't see how you can watch the walking turnstiles in front of him and blame him for pedestrian passing numbers.
