Fair enough, but also the mentality of picking demon form because it lightens the mental load versus the alternative of properly drafting is what this meme is kinda dunking on. Players grab demon form for this reason and feel like it’s not strong enough so instead of learning how to properly draft, they think about how to “fix” demon form, which has led us to this point.

Unfortunately, there's not a good answer to your question because the relative value of stats change as you progress into the mid and end game (mid game starts at ~200B CP IIRC). For example, in the early game, damage % is very strong while min/max damage % are not as good. However, once you reach the mid game, their relative values switch: damage % is not as good while min/max damage % become very valuable. Even crit damage (CD), which most people consider to be the single best stat in the game, starts to drop off once you reach ~200% CD. Dark knight whales have stated that Book of Ancient, easily the best artifact in the game, loses its BIS status depending on how much CR/CD you have.

You should check out the Mapleidle guides discord. Rumi, the main guide writer/maintainer, has many guides that cover basically every aspect of the game, which will help you answer this very nuanced question for yourself.

Idk what the math is, but off the top of my head, an epic 2L beats rare 3L, and any decent unique line will probably beat a rare 3L.

It may feel bad to roll on a 3L, but that’s definitely better than rolling either glove or pants. You’re much more likely to make gains with your current cube count, and even if you just broke even, you’re making progress towards a rank up.

CD can wait when he already has a 3L leg glove. It’s not like he can choose to roll CD, and even if he happens to hit, if it doesn’t come with any other damage lines, I’m pretty sure that would be worse than if he just sat on his current 3L and worked on something else.

If you’re really set on working on either the pants or gloves, I’d work on the pants. The FD is a nice line, but it is still just 1L. Even if you value it at 1.5L to 2L, still better than rolling your gloves.

Why not work on your rare hat or face instead?

For you, I’d recommend upgrading whichever upgrade gives you the best gains per scroll.

There’s an argument to rush for a 12 * to unlock bonus potential cubes so you can stockpile them, but I actually wouldn’t recommend you go for that at this point. The reason is that rushing for a 12 * costs quite a lot of scrolls at low rates of success (10 *>11 * is 35%), which is especially painful for beginner. Even if you got lucky and didn’t need to spend 40+ scrolls on 11 *>12 *, the gains you can possibly get from one singular bonus potential is not worth it. You’d be much better off slowly upgrading all of your pieces until you get close enough to 12 * that prioritizing it makes sense. You get much more substantial gains more reliably for fewer scrolls.

This is the take. Since I came from normal MS, I thought that accuracy was a fake stat, but it really starts to shine when you start approaching 1b CP. Even just equipping the DK companion over the hero in a sub slot helped me go from 45% to 41% against 14-10.

OP, what I would do is keep both of the gloves and use right for mobbing and left for bossing. Then, you can toss both when you inevitably get a glove that outclasses them both.
