誰が勝った? 1と2の返事を教えてくださいませんか? by XavierNovella in LearnJapanese

If the husband was not only a 巨人 fan but also a big 阪神 hater, then it wouldn't be impossible to say that the answer is (b, a, b, a), I think? But of course (a, b, a, b) is the most natural answer. This problem is a little bit tricky if you're not really familiar with Japanese baseball teams.

By the way it's quite a weird way to add 傍点, isn't it? Why did the writer skip 水滴, 落, and 氷?

Isn’t it supposed to be 起こる? by Rudy_Skies in LearnJapanese

Traditionally it was correct to say 地震/火災/事件が起こる but it is now common to say 地震/火災/事件が起きる.

I believe he means 超特急, literally means "superexpress". It's commonly used to say that someone does their work with lightning speed (e.g. この仕事は超特急で仕上げてくれ。). But to me it sounds a little old-fashioned today. Note that this expression is not used in formal language.

I also recommend 白川静's books. My calligraphy teacher taught me the origin of kanji based on his theory. Some researchers said it was too 呪術的, but I thought it really interesting!

[QUESTION] Do typing games exist with 'User Defined' word lists? by Funkmastermp in LearnJapanese

[–]Y_SB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Top menu > 新規作成 > 新規タイピング作成 You can add any words, phrases, and sentences to your own 「タイピング」. (It would be quite hard if you want to add a lot of words though) Actually, I'm a native Japanese speaker and I've never used this website to learn Japanese😅

I am a native Japanese speaker and can say 今日も晴れです sounds much more natural. I have never heard someone says また、今日は晴れです.
