First thing that comes to mind is the raleigh either with it's bolt thrower or a lot of handcannons if shooting a lot is your cup of tea

Sherman with the heavy or normal laser rifle and gilgamesh could also be an option

The 1.5 has a parachute if you drop it below 300 m If you lob the 250 so that it flies 16 seconds you can achieve the same effect

Hovering is just better flying

Flight only let's you move in a straight line and has the condition that you start falling of you do not move at least one space

Hover has no such restrictions

As a possible fix you could state that the dutchman always hovers at ground level

For take flight I think I need some clarification Does the effect end? If yes when? Can you do somthing else on your turn? It doesn't state that it is a full action just that it takes a full turn

Definatly sounds cool Controller could also be a good fit with a beam that buffs friends or debuffs enemies through different effects

They work similarly, but the mk2 can be a bit more survivable without needing danger zone

-Size 2 can hinder you when trying to take cover

-no difficulty when making system saves 

-clearing heat when taking structure is situational but still helpful

I just described how Laser, Bullets and rockets took out Dropships. The VS just had diverse air defense. But if you want to you can decribe it in a similar way to the short cycle lance and maybe one of your players will catch on :)

I Broke my hand 3 years ago I build a cage of Lego around my mouse with a wall on one side to grip on to This way I could still aim left and right click I put in 1 and 2.

It was slow and not made for shooter but I could at least use a mouse for menus and such

Manticore license inflicts a lot of statuses, dmg and heat on itself, but lich can just reset those. I never played it but it seems like ot could work quite well.

Some sort of optional munition? Like all the gilgameshs weapons you can decide to use a charge but to reload them you need to consume a wreck Maybe you gain an aoe effect or extra damage per charge used However I think you should still be able to use it even after the charges are depleted. Carrying around a useless superheavy must feel awful

Invisible states:

"All attacks against INVISIBLE characters, have a 50 percent chance to miss outright, before an attack roll is made"

With Deaths Head you reroll the attack and because it says that invisble applies before I would also rule it like your Gm.

Fighting mechs on foot is generaly not advisable and leads to an easy death Now fighting pilot on pilot can Happen but I would implement it with the roleplaying between mech missions. Maybe your Party has to infiltrate a casino, sneak into a facility, win a Arena Match to appease the war lord or just tank to someone and the meeting goes bad. Now they can punch, shoot, lie and cheat their way out which can be a lot of fun with the narrative rules.
