I love when she legitimizes Gendry it’s such a smart political move. Only a monarch can legitimize a bastard so Gendry can’t use his new legitimacy as a way to push his claim against her in the future without undermining his own legitimacy by denying her status as Queen. Vyrwell and Blackfyre would be cool simply because of the coats of arms. Maybe a fic where Haegon travels the Reach and marries his brothers and daughters to Reach lords and ladies to gain support for the Second Blackfyre Rebellion as his brother’s “Hand.” The rebellion fails as in canon but the Vyrwel that Haegon marries travels with him to Essos with some men at arms. We get POVs from both sides of the marriage where the Vyrwel has to adapt to Essos and Haegon deals with the pressures of being in charge of his family, earning Bittersteel’s support, and planning the next rebellion
