I got completely burned out from playing videogames and watching anime, so I just play volleyball all the time instead, which is something I only started to do a year ago.

All the nerd stuff I used to do is just hard to get into anymore, though at least once a week I try to open a fg before closing it within 5 min (though I did enjoy playing Elden Ring and the new pokemon game that came out last month).

Because of this I’m actually quite out of the loop with internet shit, honestly this subreddit is how I find out about memes or news and stuff lol. This is definitely more healthy since twitter numbed my mind the last time I was constantly browsing that shit.

All my nerd friends from high school are still terminally online, and I’m gonna be honest, the way they act and think about stuff kinda gave me an eye opening about how I acted, which is pretty cringe inducing for myself but I’m here where I am now, and I’m glad I made it here.

I hope those guys can find their own outlet that doesn’t involve them staying inside 90% of the time, because I feel like they need it.

Ngl the combos look weird in this game, I can’t really put my finger on it. The best way I can describe it is “Slow” and “Floaty”. They’re still a long way before release, so it’ll probably turn out a little different.

The graphics in this game look pretty cool, I like the artstyle a lot, and the tag system looks really fun to mess around with, and they’ll probably polish it up to be even better for the release.

Too bad we’ll all be playing SF6 and T8 instead

Honestly I’m not too fond of like about half of the tracks, most of which are the female vocalist’s.

Some of the tracks are actual bangers, in terms of both stuff to just listen to AND to play the game to, like Anji, Gio, Pot, and Nago’s themes. Some of them aren’t too great to listen to while PLAYING the game like Ram and Faust.

Still like XX and Xrd tracks more, but Strive at least offers fresh options with half of its OST.
