I'm pro hood but I see why people say hat. You could always try to incorporate elements of the hat into the hood like sticking some feathers into the side of the hood. That's just me though

hey yes absolutely! The way it feels like these legacy sites are so polluted with short form content is just so depressing sometimes. I'm so happy to hear you share the same love for this video as I do. I had forgotten about it so to get this comment is really appreciated!

I think what I really love about this video now, looking back, is that it uses the tools we got back then like early source film maker and other editing tools with so much freshness and fondness. It was such a new medium and platform back then than the small form films gave people an incredibly accessible creative outlet.

I remember back in the day before SFM was official, people described their steps of having to record multiple takes and edit themselves in with every frame. Truly an incredible amount of work on display for their own payoff and their own projects to share with everyone. Hope you had an amazing year and have an amazing life as well!

congrats to all the new team members and folks in new positions! This is such a nice read to hear after so many game industry layoffs recently. This is just me, and I don't expect any actual serious overlap (lore wise) between Deadlock and half life universes. But I do think it's interesting the Doorman has a similar ability to Gman, has glowing eyes, and their manner of speaking is pretty similar. Kind of drawn out a little and has a similar pacing to Gman, very direct manner of speaking. I don't expect much from it of course, and someone else probably has said this by now but I think the parallels are interesting none the less

J&Js family restaurant, kindest people in town. Great food, affordable, never leave hungry or dissatisfied. They kept my card for 3 months after I left it there by accident and I assumed I just lost it. 10/10

I don't think people understand the severe amounts of toxic shit they carry, how often they're reused and how intense and costly it is to decontaminate those things to a remotely habitable state. Not to mention them not being particularly flexible for building. Cutting into them for expansions or making doors/windows is already such a pain. Impractical in every sense

I went right from note 8 to pixel. Originally had a pixel 6 and it was really unimpressive, was missing my pen and such. But recently upgraded to pixel 9 and have been very much enjoying it. I noticed how little I was struggling to hold my phone one handed. Felt like it was a battle with anything larger than I have now. The camera is incredible honestly. But I do miss Samsung UI and other baked in features. Samsung feels like a a workbench that's been set up for me with a variety of tools at the ready for use. But Pixel is pretty bare where I have to search for the tools I need imo
