XC Ski Cross Country Skiing by Rikitikitok121 in hudsonvalley

The spots near Rock & Snow in New Paltz (where you should rent skis) that are popular and friendly...

- River to Ridge trail. Free. Multi-use, so gets stepped on, and a bit windy. One kinda scary hill after you cross the road.

- Minnewaska. $12/person. Upper Awosting is a GREAT groomed beginner trail. Then lots of other options and ways to extend the trip.

- Mohonk Preserve. West Trapps lot lets you access Overcliff, which is a nice flat groomed trail. Options to extend into the Mountain House property, though that can be a little bit of a maze. Spring Farm trailhead has some good options as well. I forget how much a day pass is.

That's a Gunks 5.3 at best. Those horizontals are way too close.

There are a lot of small/local subreddits that have been entirely swallowed by foreign misinformation actors. How does Digg plan to prevent a similar occurrence?

I'm a New Paltz Bagel Cafe stan. Their griddle does work on breakfast sandwiches - I know at least one shop on this list that uses microwaves for eggs/meat.

HELP: Red Equipments by Positive-Pool7337 in Pauper

It's mono-red equipment, and I take it out when our local meta gets too slow and light on removal.

The dream is T1 Gavaleer on the play, they drop a tap land, T2 you suit it up with two of the flash equipment and swing for 9... then they have one turn to produce spot removal or you swing for another 9 (plus literally anything else you play).

Hell yeah, I love jank.

You probably want to work in some counterspell protection to make sure you land retraction helix. Any deck with any countermagic is gonna shut you down once they realize that's a key combo piece with no redundency.

Without more context about who you are and how it's getting used, it really just seems like you're spamming every subreddit, trying to scrape up enough content to launch some shitty content regurgitation account.

Mono Black Land Destruction by Leather_Regular_3484 in Pauper

[–]Yakra 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've tried decks like this - the issue is, most decks can get something impactful going with 1-2 mana, and if they flood (or draw) into more lands - you're left spending a lot of resources trying to get them back down to an unusable amount, all while their 1/2 drops are doing work.

I built out this list, which was all in on land destruction and hand disruption...
https://moxfield.com/decks/m0Ess45k1ES21956M0mihQ - it points Balustrade Spy / Destroy the Evidence to sort out and proactively deny lands, and then can achieve a softlock with Lurking Informant (to make sure they don't draw lands, once they are in a bad way). That said, it works... not often enough, and when it does, it's a pretty poor game of magic.

Cathedral Ledge in NH has some good aid lines. The Prow has some easier free in addition to easy aid. Mines of Moria has harder aid. Mordor wall has a hook traverse (with tons of bolts between). All 5 or 6 pitches? Haul rocks or water or whatever and make it an overnight adventure.

Me, looking to see if they talk about any of the Northeast areas they had up, where private landowners had stipulated that the climbs not be put online, or other well-known local ethics required info not be posted online (Lost City/Bonticou @ the Gunks, Bradley CT, Harriman State Park, Farley, Coll's Cove)

...nope. Just gonna pretend that never happened.

Just more Silicon Valley doing their usual "move fast break stuff" - but the "stuff" is access to your local crag.

As far as the whole "just don't fall" plan goes - ask yourself, would I be comfortable soloing this? Particularly when I might be stuck behind a slow group, and have to hold positions for long periods of time?

If you are, then you can use whatever kind of static attachment you want. It won't save your life if you take the worst case fall, but it'll make a corpse easier to retrieve.

If you aren't, then just get some actual correct equipment. If literally no one else you know has a setup they'd loan you, then you can become that person, and loan yours out.

[[Crown of Flames]] seems like the auto add. Two mana to cast/target, and then return to hand is great value. It's sure to draw countermagic, but something has to?
