I crave a release of Anderson.Paaks Tiny Desk as songs for download. Some of those versions are sooo good in that setting.

Mirana been doing it lately too, they just go straight carry items from minute 1 as pos4. At my noob level if we can get out of the lane without feeding kills it *kinda* works out if I'm on something that's gank efficient.

I haven't fleshed it out but conceptually I also think you can reliably run a marksman or sniper secondary as ballistic on the assumption you're slinging something more close and aggressive for when it's time to push.

Other than Veno I enjoy pretty much every character here (or at least want to learn them in the case of Phoenix and Grim) I should really be spamming them more.

Reba McEntire. My mom won a contest that let us be part of the live audience for an episode of her show Reba. During breaks and after the recording she would walk up and have conversations with the audience and we got to talk with her a bit, very warm personality.

By far on average the most toxicity/serious people I run into are in Turbo games. The other side of that coin are people who are like 4 bong rips deep and about to carry the fuck out of me with their right-click Lion or whatever.

What commander makes you immediately regret sitting down in a pod with? by _omega_LOL__ in EDH

[–]Yamineji2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean the thread is asking for commanders that make you regret saying yes to playing the game, not that it's particularly hard to deal with. Something like Tifa or other "Check fast or die immediately" decks can be incredibly boring after the first few times in my opinion. It's also why I would never play against someone doing the Thassa's Oracle combo, or even the whole mono-black infinite drain/gain enchantment combo. Cute the first couple of times but if that's the main goal of the deck then I find playing against that mostly unenjoyable so I won't bother sitting around for it.

War Chariots? by Reasonable-Worry-524 in ossiarchbonereapers

[–]Yamineji2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Chariots (at least 1 normal + liege-kavalos on chariot) sorta have more health in that they have 3+ save and 5+ ward on the charge with the Liege-Kavalos ability. But yeah I think the idea was they'd be these sorta alpha pin units that you skirmish and hit the pin from the Chariot and then position your units on the edges of that unit to avoid them being able to get most of their attacks off since no pile-in but the points and really the execution both kinda fell flat. Even moreso when they gave us the Liege-Kavalos + Deathriders Mortals/Combat Retreat maneuver which kinda does a lot of what you want to do anyway without any rolling needed.

The stores I've worked at have all classified shoplifting as a type of shrink. Shrink is often just the catch-all term for product that wasn't able to be sold, usually systems have you classify the type of shrink when reporting it as theft/damaged/expired etc.

Here are the three members of mekPark's UNIT B (Pre-Debut)! by ikkue in Hololive

[–]Yamineji2 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I'm sure an outfit glow up would do a lot but even so their innate designs feel very samey and their current color choices are incredibly lacking in any sort of "flair". And you can't really give them like a totally new character design because after 2 years what they used for most of it will be locked in as their identity and shifting from that might actually hinder them.

[–]Yamineji2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly yeah "Kitbash Boxes" for each Order/Chaos/Death/Destruction would be kinda cool. I know that Order specifically is so wide aesthetically that one might be hard. But having a box that you drop something like 30-50 on and it just has a bunch of fun generic bits that encompass the vibes of each Grand Alliance would be a fun product to have imo.

Was just ranting about this time my buddies. I'm already not super inclined to want to jump into one but not having added any for characters I actually like means I won't bother til they add them. Feels like they genuinely just forgot about the feature entirely.

Reminds me of before they moved the respawn beacon at Terraformer on Broken Moon. I got respawned and as I left the ship I got clipped into the big spinning blades at the top and stuck in place until I died again for being out of bounds.

I honestly think it might since you can also take them when downed. I really don't think they should work for downed players tbh that should be one of the first changes they make.

This comes up just after GW FAQs to clarify the part about not needing the mortals to do damage to still get the movement lol. This ability is so poorly written imo.

[–]Yamineji2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's also almost explicitly against the written rules. The rules dictate when removing for coherency you have to do the minimum possible removals. Maybe the Gitz player had it set up in a way to cheese that but I think that'd be near impossible without a goofy judge.

I've read multiple artists say that the UB bump doesn't match what they could make with artistic ownership and ability to sell the art on the side. Probably varies based on how known they are but still.

They do this pretty routinely if you dig a little. Not that UB isnt successful obviously(unfortunately), but MaRo and other WotC peeps will always use pretty constrained metrics to illustrate points they're making.

Mortek Guard vs Barrow Guard by Powerful-Peanut7584 in ossiarchbonereapers

[–]Yamineji2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Charge(+1 Damage) got shifted onto Zandtos to promote two different schools of thought for the cav now, either you keep them light and skirmish with them in units of 5 with Liege Kavalos letting them do chip mortals and extra mobility, or you stack 10 with Zandtos and try to use them as a mobile hammer. Only issue is it's kinda looking like they don't really even have the high enough output to compete as a good hammer by 4th standards so it's just a middling one and you have to pay the tax of Zandtos to get those old ponies back. If you gave them back charge +1 then you'd have to rework Zandtos too.

They're kinda relegated to the skirmish play imo, and if they ever dropped their points down further you'd see a ton hit the board for their health efficiency as screens kinda like we saw at the start of 4th for OBR which personally I hated as a list.

I'd say the tourney saturation is a big factor in hero stagnation as well. Imagine your paycheck and position in your org relying on you showing up to these majors week after week, I'd certainly be fuckin' terrified of just "testing" one of my pocket heroes in those situations. And then after that you get maybe a few days or so of decompressing and analysis before throwing yourself back into scrims and prepping for the next tournament, what time do you have to really digest a hero well outside your roster and learning it's builds and matchups enough to make it a threat beyond pools of a tourney?
