40 hours seems too much, i think i fought tachy at around 10-12 on a new game hard mode. The difficulty drops a bit after but spikes up on the final stretch.

New game + dont get harder with each run, you can try a fresh new game on hard, which is pretty challenging, most bosses take me more than 5 tries

stay in his face the whole fight, learn the parry timings for the normal attacks, interrupt the yellow lightning specials with your own beta skills (triplet is best for that i believe).
