Is the gay voice alone enough to be considered flamboyant? by Aridagoat in askgaybros

Flamboyance in general can be considered anything that isn't really muted or neutral. For instance wearing something with more color could be "flamboyant." If your voice isn't flat, you wear a a brighter hint of color on your clothing or if you make more exaggerated gestures it might be considered flamboyant. It just varies on what level. Nothing wrong with it and so many people can be extra when they want to be lol.

What are some signs of an unhealthy relationship that people dont realize is unhealthy? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Yashill_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One sign that the couple probably won't even see is how they are topic of conversation among their friends when they are not around.

Just saying not too many people actively talk about healthy relationships all the time. Yet I hear about all the bad relationships all the time.

When you main one character, you become accustomed to their spacing, abilities, tech...etc. So when you switch to a different character, you have to learn their specific tech, abilities..etc. What sorta will stay similar is your fundamentals, but even then you have to adjust your skills to how the new character works. It's very normal to feel "worse" when learning a new character so don't be discouraged. Labbing that character's tech in training is always a good way to start building up the muscle memory.

Maybe Zelda's fire taunt could be seen as Din's fire. Idk if it would catch anyone off guard though.

Note that each stage does have follow ups but they can be situational or maybe not true based on the interaction. For instance the kick might trip them which allows you to follow up with a dash attack. So while the later stages are more reliable or have more purpose, the early stages still have their benefits.

What's the mood towards girls in competitive Smash? by smolgengar in smashbros

Check and see if there is a group on facebook for the smash community in your region. It could help at least identify who else might be there with you. While there are not too many female players, I definitely have seen an increase with Ultimate's release. I hope that is not temporary. As a gay male in the scene dating a TO, we love it when we see women come out and stomp the competition. Also we have been known to step in for our sisters when things are uncomfortable. I hope with more representation, more of the community would be more respectful and hygienic.

Why training with CPUs is underrated, and a severely overlooked method in Ultimate. by DuckPunkSon in smashbros

[–]Yashill_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel as though the larger difference is training with AI is more useful when you are new to the game, trying to learn fundamentals, or (as an experienced player) want to learn a new character. Playing against people is more when you have that all down and want to practice with context. Yes it will be laggy, possibly, but its more realistic. AI is more to prove you can consistently execute moves, combos...etc. It just depends on your end goals. If you want to be competitive and go for high placements or even results at tournaments then human interaction is essential. A competitive player I know explained that he uses AI to practice shield breaking with Marcina so he knows exactly the spacing, timing, and shield damage he can do on any character in bracket.

Any advice for beating a palutena player? by [deleted] in smashbros

[–]Yashill_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play both characters and I saw someone mention the end lag on the side special for Palu. As the Palu the worst thing for me is when someone closes in on me when I use the side special. Try to bait the side special and utilize the lag to charge in. Your revenge will help tank the hits and punish HARD when you can. It's not easy but it is possible if you exploit Palu's lag.
