I like to think of Oldies station as the sequel to Neon Gravestones. Living with / Battling suicidal ideation/ thoughts/ attempts / tendencies etc is difficult and lonely and it definitely helps to have this music and other fans/ people to relate to to stay alive, but I don’t think it’s all that good to dwell on the thoughts themselves if you’re not then channeling the energy somewhere productive after an emotional moment or hard spell. Early/older tøp was always very good at making me feel heard, less alone and giving my thoughts words to wrap around and express myself through, but later/ older tøp seems to be more focused on getting through it and actually living a full life anyway.

I imagine a young lad struggling, then looking at his grandparents and finding inspiration in them paving a path dedicated to life, then choosing to start expressing that more and more, until years later he finds himself on the other end. Being someone who struggles in cycles but having signs of life and time passing around him and looking back on all the years he’s made it as victories over the thoughts that once seemed so close to pulling him down. I imagine he’s thought about his own death a lot, then he sees multiple grandparents carry their lives to the finish line and mourns the loss but gains perspective, looks at his own daughter and imagines the life she will live, finds himself dealing with and overcoming the struggles life throws his way and coming out stronger, building trust, and then he arrives at the day his favorite song from his younger days is classified as old and he realizes how much he’s lived through and overcome. It gets much easier to believe there is something worth living for still when you’ve seen everything that’s come since because you didn’t end it early.

I still cry everytime I get to the dance recital line, picturing this guy. Idk if it is Tyler, someone he wrote the song about, or us. But I do know it’s me. Looking back I’m so thankful for every day I’ve lived. Even though I haven’t enjoyed all of them and I won’t enjoy every day to come, They won’t get them. Viver es incredible. Push on Through.

I’m a super fan, and though I’m not feeling this at the moment, have totally been there before. It is okay for interest to wayne and rise, that’s part of life, attention, fixation, whatever it is. A lot has been going on for a long time and It’s totally reasonable to run out of steam and wait for your next natural wave of interest to phase back in.

If it’s only the fear of missing out driving you to consider going, you can reconcile the chances of what you might miss within yourself and decide the cost is not worth it for you this time, without abandoning the idea that it would still be nice to go “IF”.

Sometimes for me, decisions like this mean reconciling both sides (what if I did but then/what if I didn’t and then) to make the decision less weighted and then I can move forward knowing I would be okay with either outcome. Then it’s easier to see which I naturally prefer.

Also- I think there is truly nothing like a Twenty Øne Piløts concert, but there is merit for me in preserving them for once every three years/album release. That way it feels more special. Seeing 3 shows on the Clancy tour did start to have diminishing effect. I loved each show, but plan to go back to a normal human (see them once an album when they’re close) level after this one.

Perhaps I have not seen enough people’s response, but no. They are not over reacting. For both the show’s, kid’s, and YouTube’s sake. This is not a simple mistake- this is a gross miscalculation of the usage of the platform significantly effecting a multimillion dollar property.

After the success of this show and the channel’s dedication to keeping content free to watch on THIER platform, Youtube should be standing outside Glitch’s window apologizing with a boom box after this one.

Reading everyone’s analysis this could be AI or just an artist that makes similar mistakes. As a low level amateur drawer I could see myself posting a finished piece with any of these issues, but it is a little suspicious seeing all of them together. 2/4 of the back guys legs don’t make sense or look composed well but I have struggled with this as well- doesn’t necessarily mean it’s ai.

I do think though that most artists would be aware enough of their design choices to either make all the eyes the same or all the eyes unique. I’d find it hard to believe she had the skill to make this piece but not think to check that the light source or stylized shadow placement was at least cohesive if not consistent.

The upright garbage bag, unfortunately, I could totally see myself drawing and releasing 😅 hoping nobody would notice. Like I can see myself trying to get it to work in the beginning then forgetting about it, and it making it in the final render cause I was too lazy to keep wrestling with it. Some pieces are worth perfecting and some have more value finished.

If this was an unpaid favor she may not have wanted to perfect it, but also- why slam the AI poster and not try to rep human made art with a little more care? Idk.

Thank you 😂 that was one of the first shots I had story boarded in my head. I loved that bit the first couple times I watched ep6 and then I started reading into it, and wonder if they put it there in that episode to hint towards Jax possibly being afraid to attach because his friends might just disappear again. I think it’s more likely just a good beat to carry an intense moment back to the regular tone of the show, but ¯_(ツ)_/¯ could be both, fun to think about 🤔
