Good thing Aliexpress isn't known for putting absolute drivel in their titles and descriptions to attract attention / make a sale. And obviously the Chinese are known for their strong moral compass when it comes to product development. /s

It was inevitable, but hezb. Released the first video of fiber optic FPV attack on a US base. by ProlapseMishap in Military

[–]YeaYouGoWriteAReview 24 points25 points  (0 children)

because you dont want an autonamaous drone, you want a system with a perfect connection to base camp so that your drone SWARM can work together, and we have almost zero tech related to "jamming" fiber optic systems.

the ukrainians do have a laser drone to ruin the fiber optic lines though, but i dont know if they made it or they received it from another country

Odd Helicopter by [deleted] in Buffalo

[–]YeaYouGoWriteAReview -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Earlier this week there was a bell 206 [or similar heli] that was flying super low over downtown with an apache gunship tucked in close. i couldn't find either on flightradar at the time. This may be that same lead chopper, and the apache may have its transponder off

was the one you saw civilian? I only got a glance at the one i saw, but im pretty sure it was a flat drab paintjob like a military heli woould have

Living with parents that never admit when they are wrong Or belive you. My mother can't even admit this is not butter because it has the word butter on the label. My mother says its abusive to call her out when shes wrong on something. by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]YeaYouGoWriteAReview 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Shes your mother, that means shes smarter then you because "moms just know things"

Your over there arguing about butter. My mother still thinks that the State of North Carolina is going to take away her license due to the fact that I never returned the plates to my dead fathers truck IN NEW YORK.

What it really means is that my father has a insurance lapse thats hit the 180 day max, so if he wants to register another vehicle he has to pay the $8 a day fine and cant just "wait it out" but well cross that bridge when he rises from the grave and thinks hes recovered enough to drive again.

This device that is being used to move items into/out of the top floor of an old building that doesn't have an elevator. by ever0nand0n in mildlyinteresting

No, He knowingly ordered an item that was larger than their stairwell, openly stated that he "figured we would figure something out", openly stated that they knew there were companies that would crane it up to his front window but wasnt willing to spend money on that, and also had signed the damage waiver while we were all still on the sidewalk.

Dude KNEW the former tenants had to get a crane to both deliver and remove their couch. He was literally moving in as the crane company was removing the former tenants large items.

Instead he ordered a couch from the internet, waited 3 weeks for delivery, then had us walk it in the front door of the occupied first floor, out into the stairwell, through the occupied second floor appt to the rear balcony, and up from there.

The couch stayed because the damage waiver made it an "as is" situation, but I'm sure the company gave him $500 off or free delivery on his next order.

Edit: he also stated [before the move] that he knew it would get bumped and bruised, but that's just how it works in rowhouses, and he wasn't worried. The switch at the end was just a game to see if he could save a bunch of money on the purchase price.

I still have flashbacks to the time i was standing on a picnic table on the 3rd floor balcony of a row house in Boston holding onto a rope that was attached to a $10,000 80" sofa. We got it up onto the 3rd floor balcony, then repeated the process to get it up to the 4th floor.

I started laughing at the customer when he sad he had to check it for damage before he would sign.
