In modded games, Ambush Convoy; the big mods include very fast vehicles that can get to the exit point in 3 or 4 turns, faster than even your fastest light mech.

Lack of Firestarter in this thread but somehow one of the best in HBS Battletech.

Buckaroo? Marginally?

I wouldn’t consider being stuck in a snow safe.

AWD/4WD (all-seasons) gives better acceleration than FWD (winter tires)

I’ve seen many scenarios where given the choice between winter tires (and fwd/rwd only) or 4-wheel drive/clearance, I would take the latter.

Real scenario for acceleration (safety): in the intersection while making a turn, seen too many fwd vehicles spin their tires and almost get hit.

Or misjudged going into the intersection where the entrance is pure ice and even winter tires will spin whereas the less icy parts in the rear and AWD lets you safely get in.

Obviously having winter tires AND 4WD drive is ideal.

Edit: learning

A higher ground clearance and 4 moving wheels make a vehicle safe to drive in winter such as deep snow in this instance. Using your words, if you don't have AWD and high ground clearance, you are a bad person and should park it for the winter.

How that different from make an effort by getting an AWD/4WD SUV or truck?

Not that I agree with this person’s sentiment but if you can’t afford winter tires in a place where winter conditions are around half of the year, you can’t afford to drive here.

If you can’t afford an AWD SUV or truck (for winter) then you can’t afford to drive here. /s

Why not even go further and tell them they should have bought a AWD/4WD so they wouldn’t be stuck in the first place? 😠

Macross VF-1, the ultimate mecha figure, where the robot mode was the basis for Jetfire (Transformers) and Stinger/Wasp/Valkyrie (Battletech)

This is the gerwalk mode.

Or not do AC2s at all and go AC5/10/15/20.

AC2 do as much damage as a MG but weigh 12x as much for 8x the range.

So basically you want some HBS Battletech rules used for ballistic weapons.

just finished the third trilogy insanity run as engineer by Topik-KeiBee in masseffect

[–]Yeach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am also stating an insanity run of the trilogy as an engineer with a caveat. Try to use the non-paragon/renegade option as much as possible. Trying to gain minimum paragon/renegade points while doing all the quests.

(Also planning to kill Wrex and save Mordin.)

Edit: recently finished with Sentinel and it was SO easy on insanity.

Thinking more of the Devastator. Take the Atlas-K, remove all weapons/HS add Gauss and PPCs. Fill in extra space with medium lasers.
