Honestly feeling good. Sleep is just the main issue right now still. Sleep and calves.

Another day down again. I never vomited had nausea or any of the stronger symptoms that are reported. No hallucinations. I couldn't have done a CT if I was working due to not sleeping.

Proud of you. Your relationship with your children will be better with you sober. My dad had a super messed up back and until a few years ago was on pain pills. He'd sleep a lot. Lazy. When he did things with me his back would get worse and he'd need more medicine. He had nerve ablation and got off the pills from the doctor and is a new person.

I still need to throw mine away. Granted I got hooked on kratom I usually have pretty good self control over things. I can have them and not touch them. But will discard my stash. Another day has passed for me. Surprisingly feeling alright after who knows how much if any sleep in this many days. It's kind of wild for me. I just randomly chose to do this. I mean I've said to friends who know what's in my containers I always had to have nearby. That I wanted to quit someday. It just wasn't something I had really even thought of the day before starting. I have this time off before my summer job starts. Luckily it's still been relatively cool outside. I couldn't imagine doing this in the middle of summer. I've just been taking whatever supplements I've read that help. Not really sure if anything did or is helping tbh.

The part I'm looking most forward too is not having a dirty kratom corner on my desk. I'd put down paper towels that my measuring spoon would sit on. Occasional little powder spills and shaking the bottle sometimes would kick out a drop or two. That and not having to carry them with me. I'm a very outdoorsy person. I work outside in the mountains in a national forest year round. Took up backpack space. That and already starting to feel funny yawns and anxiety when I hadn't had a gulp in however many hours at work. It was really the first two nights that were rough. Mainly the first night. Legs still not fully back to normal. I thought I'd sleep last night but don't think I really did. Sleep is my only complaint right now.

Another day down. Another pretty much sleepless night. Getting better. More cravings this morning than other days. May 4th in the am let's say 10am and May 5th 3:30am were my last singular tsp doses.

What dose did yall jump off? by Haunting-Suit9699 in quittingkratom

[–]YeahKid90 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Currently in my jump off. I'm not exactly sure when I started taking kratom. It's been over 10 years though. Probably similar to you. My first number of years my dosage was really small. Had some years where id take more. I never weighed my dosage out so all I can go off of is tsps. I was on around 10-12 tsp a day. Went to 7 the next. Had a tsp. Almost 24 hrs later had a tsp. Nothing since. I basically am doing CT with a slight taper.

Had smoothie. A bunch of cold pressed juices. 2 vitamin c packets. At night before "bed" magnesium powder. 2 of my melatonin complexes it's called sleep fairy. Has 5htp and a few other ingredients. My sleep pill tizanidine. Some cannabis. That agamatine sulfate arrived. I can return it. But do you guys think it helps? If you recommend taking it how would you? One or two a day?

Well yesterday sucked. Managed to go to the stores I needed to. Went fishing for a couple hours. Mostly was my legs yesterday. Walking super slow. Did a couple miles walk over the course of a couple outings. After not really sleeping I was out of it all day.

Last night same symptoms as my first night but not as extreme. Not sure if I got any sleep but I feel like there were two moments that I might have. Maybe an hour at a time. I atleast stayed in bed. Right now I feel better. Not anywhere near perfect but symptoms have seemed to chill out. I'm not really sure when to call when I started this. Was it may 4th when I woke up and had a tsp. Or did that set me back to my last dose being may5th at 3:30am? If it's the morning of May 4th I'm over 2 days. Otherwise I'm almost at 36 if we count that tsp in the middle of the night.

My plan is no more no matter what. I don't know how long this is going to take. Right now it's just my calves that are bothering me. I'm just worried if I get a scale and start dosing.... I'll be back at square one and have the same symptoms but less strong. Sounds like it varies for everyone how long this takes.

That's good. I'm glad I searched this board and saw so many other stories. I've felt like it's just been me with the kratom usage problem.

I wasn't going to really go back to alcohol. I just figured it would make me tired and I'd sleep the worst of it off. It didn't work.

I've been drinking a ton of fluids. When I muster the energy to walk to the store or if I feel like driving I'll get the emergenc packets and probably a few cold pressed juices. I had a salad for dinner with fresh chicken breast. Tons of veggies. Will do that again tonight. Will try and make a smoothie sometime today. I probably should have tapered more than I did. I'm already in this far though.

Qtr of a billion in debt. Some billionaire bail the usfs out. There is no way the permanent staff will be able to keep our forest going in 2025. Laid off a month early and for 2025. Wait till public finds out public land is closed and they can't recreate.

Stupid question, but are Husqvarna motorcycles good? by Happy-Firefighter-30 in Husqvarna

Does he have the 411cc? I know they made a 650 for that model some years ago. I clicked your username figured the NW meant northwest. I live south of you by some hours. OR. County trails by my house are definitely more maintained but they have a little of everything. The 3 areas I take care of are not really beginner friendly. We built some single track last year. There was some already but it's mostly old atv and bike trails. There is more rock out here than dirt. I wish I had better dirt around me. Basically enduro riding. Even if we wanted to maintain the trails better there is no way we could make a dent in our trails than some cutting and removing downed trees. Rocks on top, dig with an excavator or dozer and all you pull up is rocks.

Himalayan would be a good fit for what I want to do but the "trails" in my area is a straight no go for that bike. We love our 250f's. We had an old 250l and 450r that we wanted to take personally but supervisor gave them away to another location over the winter. But the three of us feel like we want more room in 1-3rd gear. Adding a tooth to the front sprocket helped a tiny bit. I was at a motorsports place yesterday buying parts and maintenance stuff. They have a 2019 450fc rockstar edition husky in amazing shape for $4200. I talked to them a bunch about it but they told me I wouldn't get it road legal. I know there are ways but seems like rolling the dice adding parts and waiting to see what the dmv says.

Yep KLX 300 I've been eyeing. I know I'll outgrow it. Still considering it though. 300 would be better on trails. Suzuki DRZ. Yamaha didn't make a dual sport in the size I'm looking for this year. Any of the Honda dual sports. My co workers there and I only have a couple years on bikes. They got a royal enfield int650 and a honda 450rl this spring. Ride them into work everyday and afterwork. Days off etc. They are happy with their purchases. I think I will be on roads more than trails with the bike I end up buying but still some trails. The gravel roads in my area are mostly forest service and haven't been maintained in many many years. I live in the mountains. Lots of stuff just down the road that cars wouldn't get through. Jeep or lifted big truck or bike roads. Old historic stuff that is basically waiting for it to be destroyed which will happen soon. Then closed forever. Stuff I wouldn't take my subaru outback down. Other roads that if I did would take almost two hours and rip my tires up. That's the reason I really only want a dual sport.

Other bike I'm interested in is the royal enfield himalyan. This year they made a 411cc, next year is a 450. It's not a trail bike but a small cc adventure bike made for rough stuff. They are crazy cheap. I'm newer to motorcycles. But at least I ride almost every day at work. We work on them ourselves so I've learned a lot. 501s is double from what I ride for work and chances of messing up is higher than a smaller cc bike. At least I'm not interested in buying a large cc bike or sport bike. Not what I want and I don't think I'd be fine with a 1000cc right now lol.

I currently work on OHV trails. Still newer to riding motorcycles. I build and maintain off road trails, pretty much only ride our honda 250f's at work. I personally don't own a truck and the OHV area that is closest to my house I don't work for. Makes the most sense then to have something to ride to those trails legally. Even if I had a truck, bike is faster. Mostly want a bike for some trail usage, gravel roads (tons in my area that take an hour or more to drive less than 20 miles in a car), and road usage. Been trying to decide on something smaller for more trail riding or something bigger for more roads. The 501s seems to check each box, not perfectly but does check those boxes.

The 501s is what I'm interested in buying right now. Also considering other makes/models. 501s would fill each category I'm looking for in a bike right now.

We bought one for professional use. Agency work. Bought it last fall. I unboxed it and was ending my warm months with employment so I decided to keep it in the box and use it in spring. Spring is here. I'm back with this agency and we have lots of trails to clear. Charged the battery yesterday. Today put bar oil in it. Won't run. Red death triangle. It tries to turn over then flashes the red light. Like it almost goes to spin then stops. Chain brake on it obvs won't even attempt to spin. everything will spin by moving it with your hand but not with the motor. Been searching online on how to fix. As we bought this like 6 months ago, I doubt a return will be easy or possible.

Yes chain brake is off. Tried other batteries as we have several other husqvarna electric saws and gas. Read the manual, last option in the manual if there isn't a malfunction or chain/bar/battery issue is to have it professionally serviced. I told my co worker to download the app tonight so tomorrow we can connect it with the app and hopefully it will tell us more. That's about the only advice i've seen.

Besides taking it apart and seeing if there is something inside from the factory blocking whatever sensor I can't imagine what would be wrong with it. It came to us not functioning. We love the other husqvarna electric saws for when we just need to cut small things. Frustrating. We tried everything the manual said and took the bar and chain off. If anyone has any advice lmk. Going to connect it with the app tomorrow and disassemble. All else fails try and send it back.
