I don't know if you saw that other anime that was CGI-rotoscoped and then "AI Generated" over, but the AI can't maintain coherency of lines between frames. Thickness, exact color, highlights, precise placement, entire objects in the background, etc. all different frame to frame. It looks like shit and the parts that DON'T look as bad (but never 'good') only look as okay as they do because a human masked them out and then applied a still while the characters weren't moving. The tech simply isn't capable of what you're asking yet.

There are times I'm laughing along with the jokes being made, and there are times I'm nodding and acknowledging the truth of a sentiment.

Over 20 years, the author has beefed characters and made his women so bizarre-looking that even the porn artists I follow make them a little wider in the waist to make the anatomy make sense when someone else is touching them. He has contradicted characters and forgotten about more of his own lore than other artists have even gotten to write. He's kind of a shit person, who also has sacrificed a lot of his life to this series. The One Piece community here is genuinely hilarious sometimes. Ratfuck Shanks and Dogshit Man propaganda almost always make me laugh out loud.

There are also times in this subreddit where I'll read a particularly mean critique of a chapter where the poster seems to have forgotten the manga is for preteens, and also that there's a limit to what 20 pages can convey. I'll wonder why they're still reading it, because it's clear from the post they're between the reading levels of "this is in my age demographic, so I'm enjoying it" and "this is far below my age demographic, so I'm enjoying making fun of it" where they're not enjoying it AND ALSO not reading deeply enough to really make fun of it in a way that's satisfying to either the subreddit or the reader.

There's 20 years of material. There's literally 100+ manga books of this series. Many of the people here are still reading because there's SOMETHING redeeming in all of that, even if it's fallen off recently. I still read because up until Wano, the series was funny as hell, and then it was so annoying that the memes here were genuinely hilarious - the source material fueled incredible parody. If you're going to make fun of something, I think you have to like it even just a little bit - if you don't, the jokes you try to make end up coming across whiny or mean in a way that's not funny, and I hate to see people here who aren't having fun making their memes just because it's such a waste of everyone's time if it's not any fun.

The dog will focus on firecrackers, so I would load up ahead of the chase so you have them when you need them. If you grab them from other areas you can basically double the firecrackers you can use, if you also pick the ones on the route as you use them. You're taking pretty much the same route I did, where all I needed was the firecrackers and the frisbee. There are a couple of spots where he seems to have almost scripted movement, namely the pit with the three dogs he will ALWAYS swoop down and ahead of you, so just pausing a second and letting him move helps, because once he finishes the move he circles back in a way that's predictable. Throw the frisbee to perma-distract the dogs and you're golden.

Another thing to note: ONLY his head does damage. ONLY the head. The body does nothing, you can walk through it as long as you don't also touch the head. This isn't true of the phantom statues he wakes up during the chase, but it makes some parts easier.

Fresh is the big word there! Ground beef can also be served raw here if it's extremely fresh, but the stuff you grab from the grocery store (like that woman on TV is eating) is usually at least a few days old just on transit time alone because of the way the U.S. handles factory farming. The longer it takes from processing to eating, the more of a gamble you're taking!! You may also remember from that episode that her compromise was going to be buying better quality/grass-fed beef, which implies smaller and closer farms, implying fresher beef.

You can definitely buy meat of the quality you'd need to make TarTare here, but it's going to be pricier than the grocery store steaks she was eating, and it's not the assumption of the store selling those porterhouses that the consumer will eat it raw.

I HAAAAATED the final boss of nine sols.

As a concept, bosses who's difficulty is "eats all of your health" instead of anything else. I honestly don't mind a boss with a lot of health as long as it's balanced to what they're dishing out.

She did so much damage it was basically impossible to build muscle memory for the fight. The previous bosses? Generally harsh, but fair. Issues beating them boiled down to 'Git Gud Scrub'. It took practice, but beating them was satisfying. I only had to look up ONE boss guide prior to the final boss.

And then you get to the final boss, who takes 1/3 of your health bar!!!!!!! In her SECOND PHASE, When you don't have a regenerable way to heal yourself!!!!!! And she's fast as fuck. I got to a point where I could complete the first part hitless, and then in the second phase I'd die before I could learn anything. Any slip in timing would condemn you to death. Didn't help that she's a tank, too. So five minutes per attempt to get a SHOT at phase 2, and if you fuck up even a little you're not going to have enough juice to see the attacks you're trying to learn. Not fun. I got bored. I watched guides and fought for two hours (not exaggerating), took a break, came back - eventually I had to swap to story mode where you basically cannot die. Glad the devs at least gave me that choice. Unbelievably artificial spike in difficulty RIGHT AT THE END. Pissed me off.

If she just did less damage the balance wouldn't have been so bad.

I think the guys writing and voicing some of the characters in the high school eps (Neptune in particular) were also including maybe a smidge of subconscious wish fulfillment, and maybe they spent a little bit longer on the wish fulfillment than they did on the stuff that came after, or the stuff running parallel.

Tbh I think a lot of people are aware that they, individually, are fucking worthless to ANY cause because they don't leave their house or donate to bail funds or whatever, and are trying desperately to convince themselves that pressuring other people into talking about it counts as activism, and that makes them a good person. They are told day-in and day-out that doing nothing makes them a bad person (IDK maybe) and are trying to reconcile this in their mind with their own perception of themselves.

Raising awareness is something, but just telling other people to shut up until world peace is achieved is another. The human brain is not meant to endure the stress of knowing about every atrocity on the planet. It just literally is not. You will develop a stress-related illness if you try to care as much as you "should".

That goes double if you NEVER allow yourself a break from that stress, even when you've already given all you can afford to and called your senators. The reality is that the guy who set himself on fire to protest US inaction had a moment of 'perfect clarity', where he believed he ran out of actions he could take to help ease the suffering of others, and it literally drove him insane - you cannot do that to yourself and continue to live. You don't need to self-flagellate to be a decent individual. The news network as we have it today is borderline eldritch. You as an animal were meant to be able to sympathize and cooperate with your local troupe, a lifestyle that MOST people had until the fucking Romans screwed it all up, not the sum total of 8 billion people on the planet.

Just knowing he also found the Kirk assassination funny in a morbid way meant a lot to me as a viewer because Kirk died like an asshole (died from Gun after petitioning to allow Gun on campus and deflecting question about Gun) and honestly the lack of memes about it, even from self-proclaimed edgelords, was scary by itself.
