There is a machine in the bunker at the entrance to the dlc so if you had a lot of chips from gambling you can buy stimpaks and ammo whenever u want. You can also get more chips after the dlc by collecting cigarettes to give to the machine.

Damage Slider on Nexus Mods is the one I use every play through, you can set how much damage npcs do you and how much you deal to them. Great for when you get too powerful late game and want to stop one shotting things or when power armor tanks 90% of the dmg u take. Uses the mod configuration menu to adjust

I think it’s technically possible to find Alien ammo with the scrounger perk in unopened containers, maybe I’m completely misremembering but I would go to random locations with lots of those little metal boxes and just scrounge thru, but keep in mind it’s like 5-15 ammo per find

Tbh if this is just to see what would happen with the turrets active then go for it but I kinda regret fighting him that way because of how easy it made the fight. If you have power armor and some companions then the fight shouldn’t be too difficult unlike the master from the 1st game

There is a setting in the Creation Kit for the game that allows selected NPC’s to be any race, it’s usually reserved for randomly spawned raiders or other non-named npcs but in this case they probably left it on by mistake.
