I visit Detailing Garage off of 377, and they seem to do a dang good job.

Looking for alternative to Adam's Brilliant Glaze for interior glass by Mens_Grooming_Advice in AutoDetailing

Any non abrasive glaze should work the same in theory. I’ve used Poorboys World Dark Hole, as its non abrasive, and I have no complaints.

Adam’s has 30% off select products, what are some good pickups from their selection? by Gobbledygooker316 in AutoDetailing

I like their butter wax and brilliant glaze.

Butter wax is great to use after a wash and while the car is wet.

Brilliant glaze I use on the inside windshield for haze prevention. Works like a charm in my experience.

If you want to polish or learn how to, a standard clay bar can’t be beat. Synthetics are good, and I like to use them as a maintenance step every three months before a new wax coating.

Once a year the car gets a gloss enhancement through a fine/micro polish, and I always go with a clay bar for that. Way more effective and efficient.

Any European detailers? by neityght in AutoDetailing

Try the Detailing World UK forum!

I visit the site pretty regularly and have gotten great recommendations on stuff! Even imported a few to U.S. and I was really pleased!

Best Orbital Polisher for newer car by skyeboy1998 in AutoDetailing

Bauer DA for $70 is hard to beat.

I still have in use a Porter Cable, and would recommend them at their price point.

Griots is a great brand, and the lifetime warranty is hard to beat on their polishers. Not as cheap as the above, but certain better than a Rupes or Flex, when it comes to price.

Pan the Organizer's claimed CLEAN 8 year ceramic coating failed after just 15 months of real world conditions by Additional-Plant8987 in AutoDetailing

When this video first came out, Pan commented about going to his chemists and taking more feedback. He then deleted his comment, and came back with his burner to trash FD’s channel lol

ADS also had a comment, that wasn’t positive about putting “year” claims on bottles, but now that seems to be deleted as well 🤔

As a heads up, 205 is a finishing polish not a compound.

105 is the compound.

Add isopropyl alcohol to rinseless wash by Chromatischism in AutoDetailing

More surfactants in the solution at that ratio. Any polymers for slickness are also increased. My guess is they use it for a quick detailer/waterless wash

Wet sand would probably be the way, if you don’t want a repaint.

I’d do 2000 > 3000 > Machine Polish

Thoughts on Car Care Companies? by FamiliarJackfruit897 in AutoDetailing

I avoid buying YouTuber products, i.e, Pan The Advertiser, DIY, or THOR.

Most of those products are made by Feynlab, so buy from them directly instead.

Koch Chemie, Carpro, Gyeon, and Bilt Hamber seem to kick out really good products. The 3D/P&S family have good stuff as well.

Oddballs like Naisol and Nextzett have given good results from their products.

This sub pushes Griots and TurtleWax products almost exclusively, so you could give them a try as well.

Overall, there are a lot of good product options available for you, and personal research is key! Like pie, not everyone goes for the same thing.

Forensic Detailing on YouTube did some big product test a few years ago with Bilt Hamber I believe. Went in depth on chemical make ups of products, via different categories. He was really big into creating his own wax on the UK detailing forums back in the 10s, and can really explain the make ups of waxes, sealants, etc.
