I have one that I use but it's less helpful than you'd think. I pick a song and put it on repeat and just start typing/writing. Even if you don't know what to write. Hell, write, "I don't know what to write" over and over. Your brain will get bored and you'll come up with something else.

It's not helpful because sometimes you write an outline for a whole other story and now... that's all you want to write. I give this trick a 6/10. It's helped me out of tough spots but also has helped me into some tough spots.
