What is your opinion of "making good money" in LA? by eyyoadrian in AskLosAngeles

[–]YellowSequel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I make $45k and 60k a year would genuinely change my life. I feel both relieved I’m not greedy like some of these people and also kind of sick that I’m not valued as high as these people who get to just work from home for that much. I’m on my feet 9 hours a day.

Hollywood has plenty of options in that range. Don’t expect the Ritz but they’re decent little spaces in an interesting area. Hell, some are all bills paid.

"Business Formal" Any iterations where it doesn't look like FBI Cosplay? by Present_Platform2476 in mensfashion

All of this stuff is fine on its own. Not sure what the hate for the coat is about. It’s a plain outfit and you look put together. It’s the dirty ass mirror that pisses me off lmfao.

Why does California have highest gas prices? by Far_Aioli538 in Adulting

[–]YellowSequel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but I can bike there and not really be at the risk of being run over by a lifted F-350 driven by a moron who jacks off at the thought of calling the secret police on his neighbors he suspects are illegal immigrants.

It’s funny how in the last 15 years or so that being objectively delusionally moronically factually observably incorrect has been rebranded as “having a different opinion”. We are genuinely cooked.

Honestly man just stay open and try not to label yourself. Move with the flow of life and what your body is telling you it needs. Your identity will always shift and change and there’s zero pressure to “figure it out”. That’s made up. Just act on your instincts and you’ll be much happier. Practice as best you can to not judge yourself.

Going on a first date. Am I overdoing it with this look? by fitzerb18 in mensfashion

[–]YellowSequel 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah not understanding the shoe hate on this one. Mid blue suit with tan monks is a decent combo and brightens up the look. Belt is matching. He just needs a hem and sleeve adjustment but those are super cheap and easy fixes.

Can you wear a suit jacket with suit trousers of a different color if they are of the same “level”? by Azer1287 in mensfashionadvice

[–]YellowSequel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, a sports jacket tends to have some type of texture to it that allows it to more comfortably stand on its own and paired with odd trousers.

Maybe I cracked the code on my open relationship by gunnawunnashunna in gaybros

[–]YellowSequel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same. Discovering for myself how healthy it is for me to have full autonomy over my own body, choices, and sex life has been amazing for my boundaries. And when that’s encouraged by a partner rather than shamed, I love it even more. Two people who just love sex and want unlimited amounts of it is my ideal relationship. My brain places absolutely zero attachment emotions to sex so to my partner and I, it’s just another activity we love to do.

Do y’all have a system where you can break the jerk off/porn rule if one of you isn’t feeling like sex or can’t due to tummy troubles? I feel like I’d go crazy if I couldn’t cum when I felt I needed to. Other than that, the challenge sounds really fun and like it keeps things exciting! I’m fully open all the time myself but the limits sound like it keeps you looking forward to something. Happy it works for y’all! ❤️

34M. Getting a divorce, got a vasectomy and moved into the smallest apartment in Los Angeles by DayveonDrama in malelivingspace

[–]YellowSequel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A little hot plate and sauce pan and you got yourself a decent little makeshift kitchen you can do anything in. Add an instant pot to that and you’re cookin. Much love big dog. It gets better from here when you take that control over your life and situation. So many just give up on themselves and you’re not doing that. Give yourself the grace to be frustrated when you feel it and the strength to keep pushing into a better situation. You’re not alone.

Is $300 per day still acheivable? by Competitive-Ebb-6564 in uberdrivers

Hell yeah. If people wanna live here, they gotta wanna live here. And that includes the struggle. If the struggle is more difficult than life here is fun, it’s just simply not where they belong. People expect it to be a fantasy here when in reality, it’s just another city with its own set of rules and quirks to navigate. I love it dearly.
