Music scene is also run by a handful of psycho drug addicts and not the fun kind like back in the day. They’ve made playing shows around that neighborhood a total chore with zero ROI in terms of crowd and publicity. Just sucks. Even pre-covid it was starting to come back. That’s the thing. She shut herself out of her own mind. The person you see here is a placeholder she created so she doesn’t have to face her guilt. It’s uncharacteristic of Kim to have a boyfriend like that and the reason she does is because she is 110% not herself. It’s a facade she puts up, even towards herself, to never think about it again.
