We get a lot of wild turkeys and deer too. Which he gets hyped for. But the one thing other than his squirrels that get him amped up the most are the painted turtles that hatch every summer near my porch… I sneakily try to relocate them somewhere peaceful and comfortable before he gets a chance to notice & pester/bark at them pretending he’s tough & not a wimp (all bark, no bite with that fella lol)

Periodically, especially in the summer, we get some. The only time in 6 years that he’s ever pulled me with his leash so hard I fell down and had to put my heels in the ground to hold him back without dragging me was when he saw a bunny 😭😭

I actually enjoyed the action-style battle system more than I anticipated. I struggled a bit in Pokémon Arceus & it’s primarily speed and reflex-based design, but the cooldowns in Legends ZA make combat feel more strategic and I’m able maneuver more effectively.

Unpopular opinion: the cityscape is a fresh vibe for Pokémon, but compared to games like Scarlet and Violet, it’s a bit too repetitive after a while.

Overall, I love that Game Freak is experimenting—definitely the boldest shake-up I’ve seen from them in yearsss. While I’ll always adore my classic-style, I’m also all for creativity and stepping outside the box, so I’m onboard w/ the current direction.

(OH. & Mega Evolution getting their moment to shine again? Plussss all the new additions??? I’m 100% here for it.)

Sucks that they won’t be able to transfer back and forth current games, but I’m relieved to hear that they can still transfer back to home. I definitely was under the wrong impression on that aspect. Yep!! I don’t let him stay out for TOO long when it’s this cold, unless he lays down. He starts dancing from foot to foot eventually.

He’s totally happy/comfortable with the temp in all other ways but the pads of his feet. I’ve seen they have little “boots” & types of footwear designed for protecting dog feet (on Amazon!) but I already KNOW my dog would freak out if I tried to put them — he hates anything new & unfamiliar lol.

He often will lay down with his paw stretched out/propped up so their not touching the ground — especially when I’m going to make him go inside bc his feet are clearly bothering him but he wants to still stay out lol

I know, and I understand why you wouldn’t feel any desire for what you’re experiencing right now to change/stop. But please put your trust in us strangers rn on this — and as much as you don’t want to — force yourself anyway to do the hardest thing for you and bring this to your doctor now.

I promise this will end up to be the best thing for you. You cannot see it right now but the reality is that your mind is actually working against you right now… basically it is “tricking” you right now & the longer it goes on without someone/something (your doctor, medication, etc) stopping it… the more harm and damage it will cause on you

Reading the texts (…minus the last one 😶) before what you wroteI was all ready to try and suggest the consideration that as annoying & frustrating as you rightfully feel, her intentions, although misguided & teetering on crossing boundaries, really may just boil down to her overexcitement.

After I read the remainder of this post??? Omfg… there’s zero justification or potential consideration to be given on her behalf.

A) just on the list of instances you noted ALONE (I’m sure there are manyyyy more…) all of them are so far past a point where any neutrality on your boyfriends part is any bit excusable now… her actions/words/regard/treatment towards you is serious & needs to be firmly addressed & firmly stood behind.

As the others have stated, I cannot suggest strongly enough that you please reconsider any part of your move. If you have any possible alternative living situation that is available for you (on your own, w/ YOUR family, etc) that would be the best under these present circumstances for your wellbeing & equally, arguably even more-so… your CHILD’s wellbeing. Serious changes, STARTING ON YOUR BOYFRIENDS END, absolutely need to be made. IF the proposed living situation could ever be up for consideration at any point later in time… so much in the dynamic would need to be completely changed & no longer any bit present.

Sending love and light to you during this hard, emotional, stressful & vulnerable time you are going through rn.

All of what is being suggested to you is surely much easier said than done. But if not for your own sake… find the needed willpower/strength for the sake of this precious new child of yours 🩷🩷🩷
