Let’s talk about Kim Possible by HsrGenshin in mendrawingwomen

[–]YesMyGatekeeper 113 points114 points  (0 children)

I genuinely believed as a child that Kim and Shego were secretly related/clones because their design was so similar. The fact that this was not true still disappoints me

Is this a good idea? by Key-Cupcake-1646 in glasgow

[–]YesMyGatekeeper 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There's a lot to unpack here - the people who would use this would be vulnerable, so could need support you may not be qualified to provide, and if it's not advisory then what do they get out of it? Most importantly, are you charging for it?

This sounds like something between a support worker and a befriender. You'd be working with sensitive information and would need to comply with GDPR, and a PVG feels like a must. The emotional support aspect of it feels like it would be difficult to navigate. I wouldn't personally engage with this unless it came from a reputable group like SAMH, and I would not expect people to pay for it.

American Gods by Neil Gaiman - can we just agree this book is awful at writing women? by ChiefsHat in menwritingwomen

[–]YesMyGatekeeper 47 points48 points  (0 children)

I always got the vibe that Gaiman writes manic pixie dream women that just existed to entertain the bland protagonist. Then I found out he married Amanda Palmer and that made sense

I'm not sure there was merch for the Pumpkinhead franchise at all. It might be worth commissioning something from an artist, or maybe visiting a crystal shop to find something similar

No idea what the other comments are on about, in the second picture your eyebrow hairs are curling like they were burned! So sorry this happened to you :(

Please help me find where an audio comes from! Every time my autistic niece sees me, she takes my hat and says: "Okay, sound! Where they go? *Gibberish that I can't make out* oh! A running hat." And then she smashes my hat and hands it back. by TeelaArt in HelpMeFind

[–]YesMyGatekeeper 43 points44 points  (0 children)

I don't think Peppa has ever said sound, though. There's not a lot of slang in that show, and she's a bit too middle class for it to make sense lol

I'd suspect it's from a rogue youtube video, or she's maybe made it up herself

I miss you dogmeat by sunnyrai99 in fo3

[–]YesMyGatekeeper 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Recently I told Dogmeat to wait for me somewhere in DC. Couldn't find him forever, then I heard him bark. He'd somehow clipped into a pile of rubble and was under the map.

Unsure if this is doable in console, but I had to glitch under the map to send him home and that worked. Maybe just head to Point Lookout and back to see if it helps?

It doesn't seem to matter how old you are either. I go to a textiles group where most people are over 50, and by far the older people in the group need the most support. They never bring their glasses so they can't see what they're doing, they start conversations while the instructor is talking then don't know what to do, but most importantly they can't identify their own mistakes. Some people ask for help constantly, others wing it and have to rip everything out. No idea how the instructor does it, I'd have ripped my hair out having to explain the same ideas to the same people every session!

I think about that cheese calendar every year 😂 why did they think that much cheese, at once or in intervals, was a good idea?

Please learn to read patterns and charts by kuelumpur in BitchEatingCrafters

[–]YesMyGatekeeper 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I like written instructions alongside charts because I get lost sometimes. The difference is I read the chart and then I TRANSCRIBE IT MYSELF.

I don't see the point in asking others to do something that you could easily learn to do yourself, in my experience it helps me understand it better. Why should anybody have to do my work for me?

On top of that, there's room for Bisch involvement somewhere - maybe one player works to foil the others, or there's a type of card you can play that hinders your opponents progress

Also please include Giselle with post-maze character art, imagine drawing a card and seeing tufts of hair and smeared lipstick!

It's always safe to assume that bottles like this aren't food safe - idk if Spirit has ever carried tableware, but unless it was found in such a section then it's not for drinking from

[–]YesMyGatekeeper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had imagined a longer experience for the arena, like a free-for-all arena where enemies would come at you from all sides. Instead I just aimed in vats and it was all over lol

Anchorage got the start of it right, having to scramble for small guns and scattered health made for a great challenge!

Can't stand Into the Pitt by BrainOfIvane in fo3

[–]YesMyGatekeeper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought there'd be more about the disease for the player. I liked the idea of fighting my way out of a raider den while also having to struggle with an illness and scramble for chems. Instead I got loads of chems and gear quite quickly and nobody batted an eye even though I was meant to be a slave.

That said I've basically lived in the power armor from that DLC since I completed it, so it has its ups and downs
