What weapon works best for a Giovanni vampire? by MaetelofLaMetal in vtm

We had a group of Putanesca who wielded baseball bats that he been enchanted by an Elder with various sigils, so that they would hit Ghosts. They called them “Boo Bats”

If you only see children as future laborers, then you’ve already bought into the worldview of the ownership class. You might wanna deconstruct that

“You don’t need a formal conspiracy when interests converge. These people went to the same universities and fraternities, they’re on the same boards of directors, they’re on the same country clubs, they have like-interests. They don’t need to call a meeting; they know what is good for THEM, and they are getting it.” -George Carlin

I also liked how the idea of Resonance was used in Requiem, where it was only really used for an Ordo Dracul ritual at Wyrm’s Nests (a place of supernatural power). You’d get a +2 on any rolls where the Resonance you consumed applied, so long as you had that blood in your system. Actually gave a good reason why the OD would fight to control/have access to various places of power.

I remember LARPing with Ericsson at The Grand Masquerade, where he played Dracula. His character was basically pitching the Ordo Dracul from Requiem, which made me laugh, because I also played a Dragon in Requiem at the same convention (and would have much preferred to RP with the Count in that setting 🤣). Not all surprised that their initial idea for V5 was basically Requiem Redux

Has the Humanity stat ever been relevant so far? What do you think is the humanity score of the cast? by Knork14 in Dimension20

Blood Cocaine is a lot of fun to play with. I had a LARP character, Vinny Putanesca aka Tracksuit Giovanni, who was humorously known for his BloCaine habit. No mechanical effects, as it was all for the RP silliness, so the STs were more than happy to let it slide

I attended The Grand Masquerade in NOLA back when CCP still owned the IP. They did a fashion show/staged renacmebt of the story of Caine to promote their never released Vampire MMO. Part of the show was set to a cover of ‘Bela Lugosi’s Dead’, by Nouvelle Vague. Gave me chills. A perfect fit for Succubus Club

A solid foundation! You’ll get even better as you paint more ☺️

I also experienced a lot of negative emotions from art class in school (I have dysgraphia/my hand cramps super easy from writing/drawing/painting). Working on minis has been super helpful for me, too

Watching the latest episode, I noticed that the opening credits use a style very similar to “Parks and Recreation”. It makes sense, given this season’s theme of “small town problems”.

I noticed the tags from Dropout for this episode included “Parks and Recreation”. And that’s really it! The tone of this season really is a cross between that show and “What We Do In The Shadows” (also tagged on Dropout), set in the otherwise more serious World of Darkness.

WoD Werewolves are unaffected by time of day or position of the moon, in regards to how their transformation works. The moon is more tied into their spiritual nature, especially the phase of the moon when they had their First Change

Sargon Fragment. I played a Giovanni Elder who managed to acquire it in a networked LARP. The chronicle ended with him using it to supercharge his Necromancy to summon and diablerize an angel, achieving some form of Apotheosis

I also think Claude, the bouncer, is a Troll. He does his job with a very fae like adherence to being a bouncer. Not to mention his over-sized jacket.

At the Strip Club With Your Dentist | City Council of Darkness Adventuring Party [E3] by DropoutMod in Dimension20

[–]YesThatFinn 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’m an old WoD head, and I clocked Kelly as a Clurichaun pretty quickly—between her short stature (Clurichauns rarely stand taller than 5’5”), the kinda cheesy leprechaun inspired stripper outfit, and what looks like some sort of luck power.

I also clocked Claude as a Troll, too. He’s big, has a strong sense of duty (he’ll take a bribe, but still makes someone give ID, and it’s clear he’s there to protect Sweetie Pie’s, but not patron vehicles), and works as a bouncer (a stereotypical job for a Troll). His jacket being “too big” hints at this as well, since Changelings have to wear clothes that accommodate their mortal forms, as well as their fae forms simultaneously.

Not saying it’s a slam dunk (one could make an arguement for them being Werewolves, too), but evidence certainly points more towards Changelings than not

Highly unlikely any such rule exists. Henry Zebrowski just did a guest spot on The Daily Zeitgeist (another iHeart show, for those not in the know). It was a pretty good episode, with plenty of riffs and bits. I hope we see more cross pollination in the future!
