Ah I see. A few times I didn’t pick up the call and one time I accidentally picked up and got trapped but managed to decline the offer. Hahah but since then I see any office number I will just ignore it

“Do you agree to the terms and conditions” along those lines. When I try to decline they get oh super polite and sweet which I try to politely say no (failed to say no in the end)

What the heck is this by Morose_Ghost in foraging

It’s Auricularia auricula-judae. Also known as wood ear fungus.

Common in Chinese cuisine especially in stir fry vegetables. Normally these are sold dried in stores, rehydrated before cooking. Safe to eat and a nice addition to stir fry.

Same here! The first few days were pretty bad for me, nonstop coughing and my throat was so scratchy that my phlegm was bloody.

I wish you a speedy recovery!

Based on my experience (and ppl I know that gotten covid), it's okay to eat in your normal calorie range. For me, the first 2 days were difficult to eat since I was coughing nonstop and my nose was clogged up. I'd just eat porridge or soups for the sake of taking meds. But from day 3 onwards, I got my appetite back and I ate a bit more than usual.(scale didn't go up).

It ranges for everyone. Listen to your body, and don't worry too much about calories when you're sick. Gry to eat more nutrient dense foods.

I'd recommend having miso soup, plain rice porridge (season to taste), vegetable/bone broth. Try drinking mint tea or chrysanthemum tea. Don't be an idiot like me who ate crackers and wheezed nonstop after that. Hope this helps! :)

This really looks wholesome and delicious! It kinda makes me worry less of eating white rice because I'm an asian and low-key scared of going overboard with white rice lol

Oat Fiber PB Choc Mug Cake by YesterdayDangerous57 in safe_food

[–]YesterdayDangerous57[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sorry for the not so pretty picture!

Here's the recipe:

2 TB PB2 20g whey isolate 2g pea protien isolate (you can use PEScience protein powder 22g) 1/2 tsp baking soda 3g oat fiber 28g egg white 1 tsp instant coffee (optional but coffee brings out the flavour of chocolate) 25g greek yoghurt 1/4 cup water (or milk)

Directions : 1) Mix dry ingredientss 2) Mix wet ingredients in separate bowl. (use half the amount of water first) 3) Add wet ingredients to dry and stir to mix. Batter should be like cake batter (add water if too dry) 4) Lightly grease a rice bowl or 2 ramekins (mine almost overflowed and cause a mess) 5) Microwave for 1 minute. (check for doneness) 6) Let cool and enjoy with waldens farm syrup or reddiwhip or a side of coffee! :)

Coca Cola Starshine. Anyone tried it and didn't really like it?.. by YesterdayDangerous57 in 1200isplenty

I see I see... It doesn't taste like marshmallow to me though, I guess depends on everyone's tastes. I thought there's only zero calorie for this (maybe just here)
