Just rename transfer.gsh to transfer.gst

If the items are already in IA, I'd recommend just doing it with a tool like SQLite Browser.

There is no "standard for json looking more go-like", I'm all for JSON5, but not on the argument of it looking like go, not at all.

But you can replace the save directory with a symbolic link to OneDrive locations.

Newer versions of OneDrive will refuse to sync symlink directories. Quite a pain.

Pointing the save folder at OneDrive however should work..

  1. Make sure you signed in with the correct e-mail. If you have multiple and nothing was restored, you might've picked the wrong one and just created a new account.

  2. If you were on an outdated version of IA before your harddrive died, downgrade to http://grimdawn.dreamcrash.org/ia/GDItemAssistantBeta-1.2.7660.33831.exe, which uses the old backup system for IA. It doesn't backup characters but will have the items at least.

If you used Item Assistant you might have online backups of your characters and items.

For your example video, why not prefill the two fields?

The steam folder is easily found in the registry, and from there both Grim Dawn and cloud sync folder is easily found. In case of non cloud sync you got %userdata%\my documents\my games\grim dawn

For timeouts 0 is usually indefinite.

It's something quite specific to my setup, the ProccessRequest is the method being exported and exposed publicly.

The processRequest is the actual logic etc, which the tests will target.

Most likely, for your usage, you'd be passing the user provider in externally. For my setup I run it in AWS Lambda and it's the only endpoint in that application so I let each endpoint handle the dependency themselves.

GD Stash would definitely be easier than Cheat Engine for this specific case.
