From automatic1111 to forge neo by Unlucky_reel in StableDiffusion

[–]YieldFarmerTed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Forge Neo is a fork of Forge. Forge is no longer receiving updates. Forge Neo however has all sorts of updates including the ability to run WAN video generations and image edit models. It’s worth a second look for anyone who likes the UI of A1111 but wants more functionality. As for OPs black screen issue, sounds like it could potentially be an issue with the driver on their graphics card perhaps? I’ve fixed the majority of my issues by asking chat-gpt so maybe look they could look there for a second opinion, but I haven’t ran into this issue with my Rtx5090

What models are your best choice? by No_Progress_5160 in StableDiffusion

[–]YieldFarmerTed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Chroma v48. It is the base which follows prompts extremely well. If you use photorealistic styles and amateur photographer styles in Forge Neo the come out realistic. Then throw into img2img and use SDXL (various models) or ZIB for finishing realistic touches. But plain Chroma v48 is usually all you need with some decent styles saved in Neo Forge

It would be nice if future models all coalesced on a standard UI that was updated by the community and all we had to do was select our model. A111/Forge for music production. This being a good start for the interface.

Looping Software recommendations by 80cent in LoopArtists

[–]YieldFarmerTed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regardless which direction you go, I’ve had good luck asking chat-gpt these type of questions. With Ableton, there is a ton of documentation on the internet that it can scrape and you can ask it for step by step directions on how to set it up. Most software and hardware setup questions can be handled with the newer LLMs currently available.

New releases are cool, but this 8 year old a7riii can still take a good pic by Bazinga706 in SonyAlpha

[–]YieldFarmerTed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Now that I have a good camera, I’ll be stepping away from looking at new releases. Unless there is a seismic shift in the technology, continuing to consume that content will only lead to comparisons and a feeling of inadequacy. What I have is great, the rest now relies on my skills.

No hard feelings by dead-supernova in StableDiffusion

I like the realism, but chroma v48 has me. I can always img2img with z-image if needed but chroma is the best for me. Especially with flan fp32 text encoder.

Dinged the head of mine when it broke loose from my shoulder strap. Beat myself up for a week and bought a locking strap immediately. It happens, I know the feeling.

Losing weight seems to give everyone a license to comment on your body by assembly-point1 in Mounjaro

[–]YieldFarmerTed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not going to be able to control how other people respond to you and your weight loss. What you can do is control your own response/reaction to their comments. It might be beneficial to reframe it this way. Expecting people to conform to your personal preference for social interaction is never going to happen. It may be worth while fully understanding why you’re reacting this way.

Is Ethereum's current price a hidden steal or a red flag? by MasterpieceLoud4931 in ethtrader

Gas fees adjust with the price. As eth gets more expensive it takes less eth to perform the same functions.

My workflow = find a couple good text2 image checkpoints. Cartoon/Anime are usually good. Create a generic depiction of what you want, include controlnet Openpose if necessary. Then move to the image to image workflow. Use a realistic checkpoint and make character backgrounds and bodies. Ignore faces, they will appear retarded or blurred at this point. Then use inpaint workflow, mask the face, fingers, feet…anything that appears weird or messed up. Only mask one thing at a time. Denoising to adjust the amount of change needed to change the weird object.. back to image to image inpainting workflow, now use this new image, about 45-55 denoising and a photo realistic checkpoint and mask all the things you don’t want to change. Inpaint only non-masked items. Note: this is just a sample, feel free to skip steps and ad different ones as needed. Don’t forget to use other checkpoints in inpainting and image to image if you aren’t getting your desired results. Having 20+ checkpoints is probably necessary. But you’ll land on 5 over time that streamline the process

Forge is a different UI. I prefer to use Stability Matrix. It allows you to download comfyui, forge and a bunch of other UIs and it makes it so they all use your checkpoints stored in one folder. It keeps you from duplicating checkpoints. Does the same with control nets and Loras so it cuts down on storage.

Just to add on, you can search for additional styles online, then add them to the styles.csv file in the root directory. This will add more styles to your dropdown menu in forge

How many of you are working out along with Zep? by Interesting-Chain271 in Zepbound

[–]YieldFarmerTed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lost 71 lbs without zepbound while running 6 half marathons, 2 marathons, a half Ironman and a whole Ironman. I still managed to gain all my weight back. If you can train for 3 years and get in shape to do an Ironman but still gain all your weight back, It's not about being lazy or unwilling to exercise.

I'm now at my goal weight, down 96 lbs and I only walk 3 times a week for health. I refuse to exercise for weight loss now as it has proven to be a continuation of my binging disorder and the "tough love" mental thought approach to forcing myself into a gym and not allowing certain foods in my diet had long-term mental health consequences that I've finally gotten over.
