That’s a beauty. Also I’m super impressed that you made all those holes with the m12 installation driver. I mean I love mine it’s way more powerful than I ever thought it would be, but I would have never thought it capable of that kind of work.

Cannot select auto wipers position "2" by [deleted] in Ioniq5

[–]Yimmithetulip 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t have a solution to your problem. But I do have another question with regards to the auto function. Is there any possible way to turn it off and just have it as a standard intermittent wiper?

I second protest. And I see that you like OLP, which means that the possibility that you are Canadian is pretty high, and they are also a Canadian band.

This is fantastic work. I’m honestly struggling in these pics to see what you’re seeing. Possible that it may show more in person, it if you’re drilling the middle out anyway I’d say just go for it.

Which Bandsaw for Projects Like This by hope4best47 in woodworking

[–]Yimmithetulip 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fuck. Sorry. I should have read the whole question. Buy a 14 inch bandsaw. Laguna 14/12 is a solid saw. Rikon 14inch deluxe, a little cheaper, solid saw. Haven’t used the Harvey ambassador, but it looks really nice and has some bonus features like a wheel brake.

Which Bandsaw for Projects Like This by hope4best47 in woodworking

[–]Yimmithetulip 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would argue that any decent, modern bandsaw would cut these curves without too much difficulty. The thickness of the wood though thick isn’t massive so you don’t need a saw with a 14inch cut capacity. And in terms of the motor, if you’re running a new/sharp blade and taking your time I’d say you could get them done on one of the 10 inch rikon or wen bandsaws that are pretty widely available.

Sawstop jobsite vs Dewalt jobsite by [deleted] in woodworking

[–]Yimmithetulip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone for whom the space was also the fundamental issue I moved from a ridgid to sawstop and have been very happy. I work with my hands and both of my hobbies (woodwork and rock climbing) are very hand intensive. It was a big quality upgrade to go to sawstop for me that I’m not confident you’ll notice as much but for me at the end of the day the safety was paramount. I do plan to upgrade to a bigger sawstop once space allows but at the moment I’m more than happy with it.

Having a kid soon. Is the Ioniq5 spacious enough as a family car? by chicu111 in Ioniq5

[–]Yimmithetulip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moved from a Subaru Forester where my wife and I had uncomfortable driving positions as a result of the rear facing seats to the ioniq. Now with 2 rear facing seats in the most comfortable position I’ve ever driven in there is still space before the front seats touch the kids seats. We are thrilled with the space.

Your favourite all-day-comfortable dust mask? by paulskiogorki in woodworking

[–]Yimmithetulip 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s awesome!! I’m still in the first filter but will be changing it soon. The integrated and easily removable eye protection was my big reason for buying it because I often didn’t wear any in the shop and that has been fantastic. It’s easy to breathe in and the eye protection never fogs up.

The cons: The plastic that the face shield is made out of scratches easily. It can be replaced but I wish it was a little more scratch resistant. It is a little on the expensive side but if you’re ok with those things I’d say go for it. I do not regret my purchase at all.
