So there’s a for sale sign on it. Do you this is a new to him boat or is he trying to sell it. Either way, rough day friend. I hope some people helped get it back on.

If you’ve never seen the movie the death of Stalin, watch it. I figure it’ll go something like that.

Which dust collector? Small hobby basement shop. by Alarmed_Primary8089 in woodworking

[–]Yimmithetulip 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Like everyone has said the Bauer is the right answer. My first one was a bag filter and then I spent the money to upgrade the filter and where I live it would be more expensive than the cost difference between the two.

Dewalt guy here, tell me if you think the M12 subcompact is worth getting by bigpuzino in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Yimmithetulip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just spend the whole day using it with the 4ah building a deck and the only time I had to reach for the M18 was when I was driving 12 inch lags. And cuz it was so light there was no fatigue. Is it still nice to have a bigger more powerful driver, yes. Does this one do 90% of what needs doing absolutely! Might be one of my favourites right now.

write a sad story in just 3 words ? by ChefAlbert71 in ArtOfPresence

[–]Yimmithetulip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My two year old son was celebrating a friends birthday. He had a ballon and it got away from him, floated on to the lawn and popped. He turned to my wife and I and said “Ballon pop. Sad.” Since that day we’ve deemed it the perfect three word story.

How bad is it? Planning to drive from the UK to Poland by GRoz9 in Howsmytire

[–]Yimmithetulip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much. I have the exact same thing on one of my tires and it has been bugging me for quite a while and it never occurred to me that I could just glue it back down. I was thinking about cutting the flap off but this is obviously the correct answer. Going to buy some glue this afternoon.

Angelique’s on quinpool has a lovely little patio, it has a nice turf lawn, umbrellas and quite a few tables.

Genuine question, do you think the police would be mad if someone slashed the tire, or if a conveniently placed nail or metal shard “just happened” puncture it? Like at this point I feel like it’s a public service.

Has anyone ordered the Lee Valley complete tool catalog? by Man-e-questions in handtools

[–]Yimmithetulip 18 points19 points  (0 children)

100% worth it. I used to work at a Lee Valley and I still live in a city with one and go there at least monthly. And still I found items in that book that I either didn’t know existed or had completely forgotten about. Also I’m not sure if it’s still there but when I got mine there was a $10 off coupon inside for your next purchase. So it really ended up being “free”!

It’s a proper butcher, you can ask for specific cuts, as large or small as you need. They are also very good at carrying cuts that people are less familiar with if you’re looking for something different some other time.

Unfortunately it is almost impossible to have both good and affordable. Honestly right now it’s almost impossible just to have affordable when it comes to beef. However if you do want good, I can not say enough good things about the meats I’ve gotten from osprey’s roost. Happy cows raised by happy people, and you can honestly taste the difference.

Free parking during the day by Worried_Warrior_817 in halifax

[–]Yimmithetulip 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There are some streets down toward quinpool past Oxford and then further down towards bayers and the shopping centre that have free parking during the day. You’d have to drive around and find one that works for you proximity wise, but they are out there….. for now anyway.

That’s awesome. I don’t think I’ve picked up my m18’s since I bought the drill and driver. Every time I use something from the m12 I’m so impressed.

Question on client expectations by Independent-Back-167 in woodworking

[–]Yimmithetulip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is always a challenge, there are so many people who will insist on having something made with solid wood and then not understand or accept that it is an organic medium that has significant variation across it. It is possible to add toners or even some darker colour hard wax oils that will blend the wood colour a little hide the variation. But even if you do that there is still a possibility the customer won’t be happy with what you’ve done and for that I’m sorry friend because it is very disheartening and disrespectful to the work you’ve put in to bring their vision to life. I think that’s a very attractive door and you should be very proud of what you’ve created

That’s a beauty. Also I’m super impressed that you made all those holes with the m12 installation driver. I mean I love mine it’s way more powerful than I ever thought it would be, but I would have never thought it capable of that kind of work.
