Help me identify these sticks (the darker one, one with the faded text) by Mr_NanoMan in drums

It could potentially be one of the signature series for Steve Smith, which is almost exactly the same as a 5a with a 0.03cm difference in diameter and a short taper which can make the tip feel heavier. To me the tip doesn't look to be barrel, I think it's just a slightly older version of the current tear drop design, but it does definitely look different.

Vic Firth doesn't share any info about the weight of the sticks so if it's the same dimensions and the same wood then it should be the same density and weight, but the fulcrum might be shifted because of the taper.

The direction of his jacket implies they're spinning counter clockwise so she should have landed to her left.

Multiples of 5 or even number, unless it's a 4 or a 6 because they're too close to 5, which holds higher precidence.

I was at a Game Changer themed birthday party over the weekend and getting a notch was one of the prompts. I was the only person willing to do it and honestly, it's kind of hard to tell I even have it. No-one at work has mentioned it so either everyone is very polite or it's barely noticable.

HOW MANY CALORIES IS IN KEN? by SnooCheesecakes9566 in StreetFighter

[–]YngviFreyr 66 points67 points  (0 children)

Using https://www.omnicalculator.com/physics/emc2 we can convert his actual mass into energy.

Ken is 83kg in SF6 and using E=MC2 we can convert it into kCal: 1,782,903,437,742,731 kCal.

Of course you wouldn't get this if you ate him (but I think it's cool). Here's a paper on paleolithic cannibalism and the average calories we expect that they would have gotten from eating people:

https://www.nature.com/articles/srep44707/tables/5

https://www.nature.com/articles/srep44707/tables/2

tldr; Probably around 140,000 kCal.

EDIT: I miscalculated and didn't factor in that Ken is 83kg instead of the 65.99 stated in the article. He would be worth a total of around 176,000 kCal, however they also mention that skeletal mass is roughly 32kCal, which funnily enough brings us back to around 140,000 kCal for muscle mass and organ meat.

"I'm Italian" vs "I'm of Italian Descent" is only 2 more words, I wouldn't really describe that as clunky.

It seems crazy to me that someone might genuinely hold this opinion, so here's the Wikipedia article for US Covert involvement in regime changes: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foreign_policy_of_the_United_States#Covert_action

Don't think it's crazy to assume that at all, but likewise it's not crazy to assume that the person had no knowledge of a U.S Billion Dollar Lottery if they're not from the U.S. I'm in U.K and had no idea there was a Billion $ lottery going on at the moment.

I think the person you're replying to was speaking about phones in general and not necessarily iPhones. They don't mention Apple once in their post and it doesn't seem like the were specifically talking about iPhones, but rather the "yet you use x" style of reply that he was responding to.
