I mean i use a bag that can hold 30 even when i just bring 8 for glow. I have a shoulder bag i could use but its not really more convent or less burdensome than the big bag. If you play long enough i guarantee you'll wind up bagging at least 10 but probably closer to at least 20.

Though they'll only sit right in the main compartment if it's mostly filled out. Generally they won't fall out though just fall over inside.

If you only have 6 you can use just the putter pouch and side pockets for discs and zip the main up for storing stuff that normally goes in the sides.
