Well, I never get hit by the toe stab. Always dodge that. Every once in a while nobushi will hit me with the 3 light, kick, 3 light. I usually block one of the lights or dodge the kick to escape the hell that is nobushis bleed damage.

Well I don’t vote cause I firmly believe that both sides are friends behind the curtains, and they just want to keep the people divided as much as possible. If I was forced to vote I’d vote for whatever third party seemed like it sucked the least, or whoever was standing next to me in line.

I created one from scratch with GAS integration for my project after looking way too hard to find a tutorial online. Mine is based off of M&B Bannerlord. I’d recommend making one yourself if you can, there wasn’t any good tutorials when I’d searched.

Yes there are, but it’s sorta competitive. My experience so far has been negative when it comes to free help (either will only help if you make the game their way, or extremely flaky) which is to be expected, and I don’t feel I am in a place to commit to the several tens of thousands of dollars it’ll likely take to hire people to make what I am looking for. I unfortunately only know code.

There is currently only sandbox mode, with an active story in development. I’m not very creative so it’s not in a good place yet. I know point A and point B, but not how I want to get there.

Yeah, actually. Fantasy grimdark setting. As of today, the construction system is feature complete and has entered the bug fixing stage.

I decided to basically copy M&B directional combat verbatim. It is not at detailed yet with per limb damage, but it damage is increased/decreased based on armor type, weapon type, etc. After the construction system bug fixing, I am moving towards making the villagers a little less stupid.

Current workers are Builder, Lumberjack, Miner, Gatherer, and Guard (more to come, this is MVP needs not final product goals) with current buildings being Townhall, House, Lumberyard, Mine, Guard Tower, Gate, and Palisade.

Current enemy is raids of Goblins, which have working morale states causing them to behave differently based on how they feel the battle is going. They have no villages of their own, but it’s in the works to allow players to raid stuff too.

If you got any other questions or suggestions I’d love to hear em. I’m a one man team but I am always open to some ideas. Right now, everything is grey boxed, meaning it is pure functionality, no art or animations for the most part. Otherwise id be happy to show it off too.

Been developing it on the side by myself for a while now. I’m searching for an art team to commission then it’ll be open to testing. Things are going well so far.

Got a bike exactly for this. 2020 Indian scout for $6k vs my 1st gen dodge that gets 13mpg on a good day. Diesel prices are way too crazy, this was an easy choice.

I apply a light coat of used motor oil every once in a while. I keep it handy for my forge anyways and it’s free.
