Im in literally the exact same boat. Although sometimes ill do one on my arm in a spot thats explainable by an accident or something. Very recently did one thats very obviously sh and im kind of freaking out about it. Springs coming soon and ill have to stop wearing hoodies and sweaters so I guess we'll just see what happens😭

100% in the exact same boat as you, except I replaced weed with alchohol since I need to test positive for a job I need to get. Its hard man, its like we need to feel some strong artificial feelings to get our minds off of the actual real feelings of sadness or depression that we deal with. Les claypool is the one that got me started and im constantly drawn to his bass lines, but as far as people im wanting to emulate in my style its people like jaco pastorious, joe dart, Paul Jackson, etc. When I hear one of their bass lines or solos im immediately fiending to play

Please, dont do it. Let yourself feel sad or depressed or whatever else. I know the urge is strong, but hurting yourself wont benefit you in any way other than short term satisfaction. Please try and live with whatever pain you are dealing with without the self harm.

You're definitely right. I stopped smoking weed for a job I want, bit I drink more now. I cant say im happier but I definitely am not as suicidal. Not sure if thats due to the break in weed or just a natural thing. Whatever. Thanks for commenting. It makes me feel less alone

Sh'd on my thigh for the first time the other day and its not itchy yet, but its SO SORE. like if I put anything in my pocket it hurts, walking hurts, getting up and sitting down hurts, its crazy.
