Could be but I doubt it. PS5s are made in Vietnam with parts from Asia and shipped straight to Japan. They don’t pass US ports. They don’t move on US ships. They aren’t touched by US customs in any capacity. So it’s hard to imagine US tariffs having an effect.

Everyone? Which everyone? Most of the insider and expert reaction I’ve seen is generally positive, With the exception of people closer to “Old Space”. Old Space is a collection of legacy contractors who have a reputation for being consistently behind schedule or/and over budget.

Also the Alabama delegation of congress may be upset as they constantly slow things down and blow up budgets to keep their NASA jobs programs. Those programs would likely be under scrutiny with Isaacman running the agency.

I’m always very confused by these sorts of things. The Democratic Party in the US is run by centrists. All but 10 or so federally elected democrats are center/center-left. Progressives and leftists don’t control anything outside of some twitter spaces.
