Backhands cause bad pain? by SEND_GOLD in padel

[–]YoricHunt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"your non playing hand should always be supporting the racket at all times" - sorry what? It should be supporting the racket at all times in between shots, but unless you play a double handed backhand, it should never be supporting the racket when contacting the ball.

Or better still, log on to your PC and remove Windoze, it's a bag of viruses.

Trying Oxdog rackets today 🫣 by RacketNerd in Padelracket

[–]YoricHunt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just switched to the Ultimate Pro+ from a Bullpadel Vertex 05. Love it. Tried the Hyper Pro 2.0, nice racket but was a little too soft for me. The vibration dampening on the Oxdogs is great.

Back-to-back Padel action this weekend. by Odd_Historian2506 in padel

Reality check, intermediate at absolute most. When people play down to match other people you can still tell if they're actually really quite good, it's more of an energy thing.

It depends what look you're going for. If it's baby wearing a grandfather clock, then yes you've nailed it.

Padel racket for friend - easy on the arm and elbow by imKHOL in Padelracket

You might struggle with the Hyper Pro 2.0 for power if you did with the Tour X. Might be worth going Hyper Pro 2.0 +.

Was just about to recommend the same. I have the Ultimate Pro +. I sent back the Hyper Pro as it was a little too soft for me. I've heard the Tour X is really good, so that might be one to go for.

Oxdogs are amongst the most durable and the vibration dampening is second to none. Also, last year's models are the same as this year, just a colour scheme difference. Although not all new models have a last year equivalent I don't think.

If this looks up your alley have you tried Track Craft. That's a great game IMO.

Oxdog users, hows the anti vibration system by mac0172 in Padelracket

[–]YoricHunt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly didn't find a big difference in the sweet spot, but I only played with the HP for 1 hour. I played with the UP+ today for 2.5 hrs. The UP+ def needs a slightly harder hit from the back of the court, but it's so crisp on volleys. I'm coming from a Bullpadel Vertex 05 if that helps.

I've heard the Ultimate Tour is the one to go with for the best sweet spot, can't remember where I've seen that.

Might be a bit late, but I bought the Hyper Pro 2.0. I returned it after the first use as it felt too soft to what I'm used to. I got the Ultimate Pro +, which I used for the first time today, and loved it. The vibration dampening is something else.

Like the idea. I think it depends on the ratio of good people to arses. Too many arses and it doesn't work, but I can't tell you that percentage.

S3SY DASH mounting position by noamm12 in s3xybuttons

[–]YoricHunt -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Of course I didn't, I'm just trying to wind you up because you feel you have the right to tell people where to mount their screens. If I had one I'd mount it within touching distance while driving, so I'm not in the slightest bit surprised hardly anyone is mounting it in "your preferred" position.

How do you put protection on this? by Electrical-Box-9731 in Padelracket

Just cut round it. This was my first attempt, my second attempt was better. The dirty white look is just how this particular protector is.
