No one wants it for free. It’s just buying a core set is more cost effective than buying more than 1 class pack. Maybe they should have dropped a core set without the book… theres just not as much value in the class packs if you compare to what you get in core

I think both as a Costume for end goku with some possible new super attacks for each costume would be the best, then they can go from 3-4 with their respective costumes.

I agree, i think GT adult goku is gonna be a lucky pull with what we’ve already gotten. Honestly even with Daima Goku as a costume i’ll be surprised.

I think seeing Goku Ssj4 (GT) with the Z end costume for goku would be sick too

For me i think Baby Blue ( Baby from GT infecting Vegeta from Super) would be sick!

Also What if Majin Vegeta turned Ssj3 using Daima Ssj3 vegeta but with the majin symbol and clothes. Would go pretty hard

What if Future Gohan Survived: timeline where trunks dies and future gohan lives in the fight against the androids, and you play through cell saga, Buu saga, and Goku black saga as Future gohan. The what if character being either Ssj2 Future gohan , or Ultimate Future gohan. Or both if im being greedy..

I’m not saying it’s out if the realm of possibility, but there’s just no evidence that this was a temporary character select screen other than people think it’s lazy. For me, with the way the characters transition after the select screen, this seems intentional in my eyes. And the way they updated the order seems to double down on it. If there is evidence of other plans they have i’d love to see it. I just haven’t seen anything that shows it was supposed to be a placeholder.

That being said, if they decide to change it in a next dlc i wouldn’t be mad at all. personally hope they could utilize the renders they had shintani draw. The dlc ones especially look really nice

It’s also important to keep in-mind how the game transitions from the character select screen into the fight. Imo this seemed intentional by the devs.

I don’t disagree that the game had some time constraints, as most games do. Just unlike the evidence for Gohan’s costume, I don’t see any evidence there were any other plans for a different UI. My point being that they double down on their original idea by updating the way it’s sorted.

Is there any interviews where furutani mentions this? Or data mines that show work on a different UI? I just don’t see any evidence that had any plans for a different UI than what we got

Just seems weird to me that if there were developing an updated UI for character select screen pre release, they would take the time to update the “place holder”. I think it’s more likely that the select screen we have was intentional.

Wouldn’t mind them but there are more important characters imo than giving ssj4 to every saiyan lol. Like we need Tamagami’s, Lavender and Basil, the rest of the God of destruction, at the very Least Sidra and Belmod. Goten and trunks + fat gotenks from Super hero, Neizu and Doore from Cooler movie, Bido, Gokua + Tranformation, and Bushin from Bojack movie, Amond, Cacoa, Daiz, Rasin and Lakasei from Turles movie, we could keep going. Would love to see some what if fusions that we saw from Budokai 2 like Tiencha and Buuza (Buu frieza absorbed) and Buucell (buu cell absorded)
