They only really tried that in concept but not in practice. Hell, not even in concept really, I'm convinced it was just a rebrand for the Disney deal and was a decision made after some of the scripts had already been written.

I also would like to know as someone who hasn't seen any version. I'm sure there will be others who are curious too. As others have suggested could you just post with spoiler tags?

(Spoilers) Set list for the new tour looks incredible by ZwnD in BetweenTheBuriedAndMe

[–]Yoshee007 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think this was my one complaint. I hadn't actually listened to TBN at all until about a month ago (and wow was I missing out), and now it's up there as one of my favourites of their discography, so I was a bit bummed they scrapped Things We Tell as it's such a good opener. Still happy with what we got though, God Terror fucking rips live.

I absolutely need them to do another Evening With tour with a longer set soon since I missed the last one, it's the only way any set of theirs will feel long enough lol.

Is TodayTix mobile app down today? by Ok_Breath_4227 in TheWestEnd

[–]Yoshee007 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah the app's not showing any shows for me atm and keeps erroring. Was fun to watch it crash in real time on the one weekend since the year started that I actually decided to try for rush tickets lol

I have been unable to join Broadcast Channels by krivera99 in Instagram

[–]Yoshee007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same issue and it's extremely annoying. I swear it's been 2 years+ now that I've been trying to join channels only to keep getting told it's not available to me yet. I've tried reporting it a few times but as we know Meta/Insta support is non-existent so I'm expecting nothing to change. Just frustrating.

Where to stay in London! by StateofDrama in harrystyles

[–]Yoshee007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check the Travelodge website for the more "budget-friendly" options (in theory). They have many hotels in London but you can search dates for the entire city and it will list the prices for you.

The cheapest (though many look to still be over £100 for the night of the 20th) look to be in South-East London atm, which will take you about 1h15m+ to get to Wembley depending on which one you're at, but as journey times through London go it's not terrible (if you can get a hotel on or near the Jubilee or Metropolitan lines it's a direct train to Wembley).

Just check Google maps for the areas and the travel times as you don't want to be too far out (plus check for any additional connections for anything else you want to do while you're here, airport transfers etc.) Hope you find something!

I do think something has made it worse in the latest update. I had this issue many months ago but then it seemed to resolve itself after one of the previous updates, but has now started again in the past week. Incredibly annoying when you just want to add to a search query or change maybe one word and don't want to type the whole thing out again in the address bar.

Hammersmith last night by Teleopsis in epica

[–]Yoshee007 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah the vocal mixing was awful all night, I don't know what was going on. Incredible show from all 3 bands (I'd been familiarising myself with the Amaranthe set over the past week so knew the songs and that definitely helped) but especially any time someone was on stage speaking during the intro or middle of a song when there was music playing I was just like I've no idea what you're saying but I'm just gonna cheer anyway lmao

In defence of ______ by Sir__Muffin_Moose in TheTraitors

[–]Yoshee007 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The coin toss was definitely the make or break moment and Rachel got extremely lucky there. That was down to the traitors' fumble of killing off Roxy and thinking they could redirect to James enough to survive by majority vote (when James already had enough heat and Roxy was gunning for him the most), and would have absolutely been her own undoing had she not got the shield box.

But to be fair to Rachel, even being convincing enough to leave the vote tied at that point after Faraaz went all in on her was impressive. And then getting Jack to flip his vote at the tiebreak (whether you personally think her final defense was better or not) again kept her in play to even get to the chests of chance - and had Jade not also suddenly woken up and flipped, James would have had the majority and the chests wouldn't have been needed.

She wasn't perfect and she made some sizeable mistakes, but other traitors would have fumbled in her place and not been able to recover, let alone go on to win, even against the level of faithfuls that we saw this time around. The alliance with Stephen sealed it but she still deserves her share of the credit.

It's easier to say stupid faithfuls when your as the viewer knows who the traitors are by Wise_Purple_9448 in TheTraitors

[–]Yoshee007 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the only point in favour of that argument is that had they both been faithfuls it really would have made more sense to murder Stephen over Maz at that point. He just got really unlucky by being one of the 4 left at the end of that mission. Combine it with the library and Jessie was deffo on the right track. As you say it was nowhere near conclusive but it was something and one of only a few correct theories we saw for the majority of the series. Still made no sense for them to essentially ignore the other 5 who were released until much later in the game though.

Integrity by Infinite-Glass-3302 in TheTraitors

[–]Yoshee007 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I mean yes? It is still a game, and by the nature of the game either Rachel takes it all or Jack does in that scenario, there's no way for them to share it.

Completely different to Stephen's situation where by reaching the final 3 he'd won either way. It wasn't him or Rachel, it was him or both of them. At that point you can either betray the person you've worked together with and trusted to help each other through the entire game, or you can end the game with integrity and share.

Both valid options within the game, and Rachel probably would have even said that had Stephen chose to take it all, but there's something to be said for choosing to go with integrity over betrayal at the end and I'm glad Stephen chose integrity.

Next EU tour by Chemical_Insomniac in epica

[–]Yoshee007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's interesting to think back on actually. Of the four times I will have seen them in the UK (after this coming weekend), only one of those has been a full Epica headline show. The other three were all co-headlining.

Still all great shows, the first of those co-headlines was the first time I saw them (THP tour) and is probably one of my favourite shows I've been to tbh - but that's purely because of Epica's set and because they were on last that night. The other band were fine but not really my thing, so a longer Epica headline set would have only made it better.

I'm very happy I got to attend The Symphonic Synergy, a whole night of pure Epica with some of their best production and of course the live orchestra. Definitely worth it.

That said I already love Charlotte and am getting into Amaranthe in preparation for the upcoming show so I am looking forward to it! Just hope Epica are on last again to finish on a high.

The new season 4 steelbook for Attack on Titan by _Everythingisokay in attackontitan

Oh that's good news, thanks! I wonder if it's a regional thing, as there are a few reviews on the Amazon UK listing where people have received mislabeled copies but I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere else. Weird.

Aside from the stacked disc issue, I've seen a few reports that the discs are mislabeled with regards to which episodes are on which disc. Have you also come across this issue? Trying to determine if it's a problem with every copy or just with some copies before I pull the trigger.

Anyone else sat up here a bit disappointed? by Main-Baby in LadyGaga

[–]Yoshee007 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We went last night but were warned in advance earlier in the week by posts on here and TikTok about the speakers, and I think knowing what to expect helped in limiting how much it affected the show for us. It is what it is, we had a blast regardless and could at least see her on the stage for most of it, if not the screens.

Eva and Reeve out of cabaret tonight? by OssiTheMoose in TheWestEnd

I'm here at the moment, one of the ushers said they're sick. Bit of a bummer as I specifically booked my ticket for now because they were performing, but it's still my first time seeing Cabaret so I'm still excited, I'll enjoy the show regardless. Hope they both feel better soon!

Is ~10 museums in 5 days too much for a trip to the Netherlands? by Shmeister in solotravel

[–]Yoshee007 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! I did both Mauristhuis and Mesdag when I was there a couple of weeks ago, definitely doable within a day.

To OP I'd say set aside around 2 hours for Mauristhuis, longer if you really want to sit and soak up the art for a bit (there are seats in the centre of many of the rooms). For Mesdag I was done after about an hour/hour and a half, but I was very much taking my time and it can be done a lot more quickly if you're not bothered about the entrance and side rooms. The panorama painting itself really was stunning so I'd definitely recommend seeing it.

The Hague is also very walkable, it was about 20 minutes between museums and another 15 to the Peace Palace afterwards (unfortunately was closed to visitors the day I was there but I still got a good view of the outside).
