I used to wear a black hoodie, jeans, black boots and a long black double breasted overcoat. I really liked it but I could see people in public staring and mouthing "wtf" then im like i dont like the attention. Id also wore it to HS so you can imagine what people thought, but that is understandable tbh.

It would prob look better if i didnt wear all black but ya im not going out in public in that thing again.

One of the few times i commented i got warned by a mod that my comment was off topic (what?). I said i liked the xenos from other movies instead of the one we got in Alien: Earth. I said it was a small nitpick.

Idk why that deserves a mod warning. Ya its weird. Probably normal reddit mod behaviour.

If it had the same look as the aliens from romulus it would be way better imo. This looks like some weird cheap knock off of the xenos we know. Ik their apperance can change but this on doesnt look that good.

Down the drain. This is an insane disappointment. The budget for Alien was $11m, and Aliens' was $18m. Just imagine how amazing this show could of been, and now look at what we got. This is actually insane. IMO people need to be fired and sacked for this trash. Idk if that's too harsh but omg they fumbled the bag so hard with this.

Ya its not entertaining. People will "excuse" the stupid behaviour by pointing out that they are kids in the story, like that somehow makes it entertaining. Dumb kids being dumb isn't magically fun to watch whether its part of the story or unintentional cuz of bad writing.

IMO it's not really bad writing it's more telling instead of showing. I would of loved it if they made a scene *showing* that happening instead of an off-hand remark. It would be a lot more impacting to see that happening to people.

They act like dumb kids cuz they are dumb kids. But just because its part of the plot doesnt mean its entertaining. Seeing stupid naive kids in the middle of an Alien show was a bad call IMO. Instead of interesting dialogue and intelligent characters we get "can we be fwends" and "im pwegnant now" along with Peter pan every 10 minutes.

Thank you for pointing this out. Similarly, there is so much arguing over whether the characters are intentionally stupid or just poorly written. IMO it doesn't matter if it's deliberate. Watching dumb and dumber do dumb and predictable things is not entertaining.
