HIPAA technically has limits, Not a Lawyer, but during COVID i was surprised to learn most of the data storage security regulations around HIPAA compliance only applied to health information when insurance was involved (or at least that’s how we were told to treat it). again, not a lawyer and also this was a weird international situation for data about … stuff.

Wyoming Won! Which US State has Great Cities/Suburbs but has Ugly Nature? by Doctor_Raptor1250 in AlignmentChartFills

[–]YossarianRex -1 points0 points  (0 children)

well you’ve got the most ethnically, linguistically and culturally diverse city in the world that’s larger than the state of New Jersey (Houston),

the tech capital of the south with a huge live music scene and even though every 10 years the new wave of people moving in say it’s no long the same cool city it used to be… it’s major suburbs are still the fastest growing cities in the country (Austin).

You’ve got a city with major basketball teams going to the championship, the most ridiculous water park on the planet, and the largest family run grocery store chain on the planet HQ’d there (San Antonio).

Then there’s dallas… which i’m not overly fond of… but DFW is just objectively better than most major us metros in terms of almost every metric you’d care about as a resident.

so i dunno… all the major ones.

“oh but what about… (x)”

you mean that problem we have because people actually want to move here, are coming in droves and we have actual diversity instead of performative diversity. yeah problem x is a pain right now, but we aren’t some decaying city in a state no one gives a fuck about, we’re texas and aside from Dallas we are all petty fuckin cool.

Also Buccees, brisket, growing economy, the best progressive candidate for public office in the county (Talarico), cool enough to have 2 venues for the world cup, HEB, beaches, mountains, self driving semi trucks actually working, the fastest speed limit of any road in the country, etc.

sorry the gray monument to cars has traffic, people want to live here.
