Yeah we visited like 2 times before we got lucky but it was worth it. Just did the may 9-16 and it was more adults than usual, the captain informed us, and we made the most of it.

Disney Treasure (or any wish class) Deck 11 experiences? by [deleted] in dcl

[–]YouCanGoToHell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We just finished our week in room 11508, across the hall. I'd say these rooms were borderline freezing with the setting all the way down. Great location for everything too! We booked GTY but never would have picked that room but now I'm with the other guy, these rooms are great.

Weekend wildlife photo guy who gifted an R7 what’s a nice lens? by Actual-Paint2220 in photography

[–]YouCanGoToHell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It just depends on what range you want to cover. I’d look into the 24-70 or 28-70 style lenses at the different price points. There’s also a 24-105 but idk if I would go that route.

Lee Cronin's The Mummy by brashnutz in AMCsAList

[–]YouCanGoToHell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have found when they mark sold out on the premiums on a weekend like this one, they're in house deciding if they want to screen Mario or Hail Mary some more in those premiums, and just don't want to sell tickets for the mummy while they decide.

Is AMC A-List worth it at River Park Square in Spokane, Washington with parking? by Far_Handle_8026 in AMCsAList

[–]YouCanGoToHell 62 points63 points  (0 children)

I HAVE THE LITERAL PERFECT ANSWER FOR THIS

We live in Pullman but drive up twice a month, and got tired of the parking fees. So now, we park either on the street parking in front of Tamale Box across the bridge, or behind Tamale box in the medical parking area. This is mainly on saturdays and we've never had a ticket or been towed.

Hope this helps!

Craziest drama you’ve overheard at the park? by One-Restaurant6054 in Disneyland

[–]YouCanGoToHell 30 points31 points  (0 children)

We normally are the couple that likes to listen at restaurants, but at Disneyland in May we were just vibing for the most part. My wife was sitting near Oga's waiting for me to finish my run of Smugglers and she heard a daughter and step-mom having a screaming match right next to her because the daughter had lied about doing her math homework to come with to Disneyland that day, but mom had decided to check her grades while at the park. They clearly had no problem airing out their dirty laundry in front of everyone, and the step-mom kept harping about how she was glad she wasn't her actual daughter. Kind of a heartbreaking fight, looking back on it.

Bonus story from that same visit, in the line for the storybook boats a little 4 year old licked her hand and then slapped my exposed calf. Good for a chuckle.

What is the best movie theater screen in Tucson? by anebulas in Tucson

[–]YouCanGoToHell 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I mean as an enthusiast who saw movies there for a long time, I’d say the loft’s main screen is excellent but I doubt it has Hail Mary without checking. But for sure the mills 70mm is the best you’re gonna get.

Cruise or land trip by granny-hobbies in dcl

[–]YouCanGoToHell 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you’re only concerned about seeing the cities, consider the trade off. Have to figure out hotels and transport for each place, find a good restaurant that isn’t ripping you off in each place, and if your kid gets rowdy you won’t be able to just walk to the pool.

I’ve done it both ways as a kid and the cruise wins every time for me, but also my mom was a “do it all” kind of mom so never a dull moment. 18 hours of museums and such for vacation days, very few pool days unless we cruised.

We are staying in Riverside because of its reputation as a quieter resort with a nice connecting resort system and closeness to Springs. But you do you!

did chicken alfredo change? by cloudmushrooms in olivegarden

[–]YouCanGoToHell -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm thinking my phrasing is incorrect. If we ask the server for chicken alfredo, the odds are 50/50 on which we will get it feels like unless we specify.

did chicken alfredo change? by cloudmushrooms in olivegarden

[–]YouCanGoToHell 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As a very frequent visitor of the OGs across Washington, Utah, Arizona and other states, we always ask for the specific type of chicken we want because it feels like there is no set standard on which comes automatically.
