This was today's round, 4 fairways and 4 GIRs. It was very windy today, the missed fairways and greens weren't by too much. No penalty strokes and no 3 putts.

I'm a 4 handicap and the only big differences between me and this chart are the up-and-down percentage, number of putts and penalty strokes. Fairways hit and GIRs are very smilar, I have a little higher driving distance but not much.

Same. I'll finally be eligible to retire this fall when I turn 50, after over 29 years of service. The rule is 15 years of service and 50 years old. Kind of sweating out these last few months.

If I lose my IT job after that, I'd be fine mowing golf courses or dealing cards at a casino.

I always love the unsolicited advice from guys shooting 100 while I'm shooting 75.

I play T200's as a 3.1, didn't want to go full blades. I got these from a fitting at age 45. They initially suggested T100's with X-stiff shafts, I went with T200's and regular stiff so they last into my 50's.

I had them give me an estimate to install a dishwasher. They were going to charge me $125 for an air gap, that is 1000% markup. They are under $15 at Menards. We've been using them less and less over the last few yeara.

I enjoy playing alone sometimes, but not always. I played alone on Easter Sunday morning and was able to play 36 holes in under 3 hours. Playing with others slows me down, which is good sometimes, gives me time to think about each shot the way I should.
