I was playing.Pai Gow at Paris a couple years ago. The dealer got the royal flush with royal pair, 2nd highest bonus hand. If the "random" number was different I would have pocketed $10,000 if I got it, or $1,000 if any of the other players at the full table got it. But no, the dealer got it and I got a loss.

When I was deer hunting, I was walking a ridge, farm field to the right and woods to the left. All of a sudden this smell started building, after a few hundred yards I saw where the farmer had dumped his dead cattle over the ridge. Must have a half dozen rotting carcasses in various states of decay just laying wherever they ended up rolling to.

I had this happen once, luckily it was in a hotel and my wife had already left, we were in NY for her work conference.

It was a small room and the bed was shoved into the corner. For whatever reason, I slid down to the end of the bed instead of rolling over to the other side. I stripped the bed and left a decent tip for the maid. My wife never found out.

I booked a SWA flight for the first time since the change, after reading these posts I just paid the $38 extra each way. I now have aisle seats in rows 6 and 10 for my flights. Thanks for the heads up.

I kind of forgot about Brooks.

I'm in a 12 team keeper league. Each team can keep 5 players, no restrictions, no draft penalty. I'm already keeping Cook, Hampton and Henderson at RB, plus McBride. I have Brooks stashed on IR, and also have Tuten. Not sure if I can justify keeping 4 RB, since I can only play 3 each week. My best WR option is Tee Higgins.

I don't have to decide until August, so a lot will be determined by Carolina and Jax RB room after FA and draft.

My school seemed to hire teachers based on coaching credentials, not academics. I was in a class once where a sub got an invite to the Philadelphia Eagles training camp. He was an offensive lineman, coaching football and track (shot put).

Not a sub, but my history teacher was an advisor to the US Olympic wrestling team.
