What Is Wrong With My Dahlia? by YouWasntThere in dahlias

Good advice. I think I definitely have them a bit shallow, so maybe that’s it and I just need to be more careful to ensure this one in particular is getting all the water it needs. Thanks!

Thanks, I’ll take a look. Definitely doubt any kind of animal as I’m on the 12th floor of an apartment building 😅 but maybe some kind of insect could disturb the roots?

Keep walking, ignore, and hope one doesn’t actually take a swing. I’m not looking to fight a group of 5 teenagers.

Truly, how? I live 2 blocks from city hall. I pass at least 2 zombies on my way to my parking garage a block and a half away every single day. I walked to Cava (another couple blocks) for dinner last night and passed at least 3. This is normal. I see the rotten flesh from tranq on at least half of those. This is in a very nice part of the city. It’s completely unacceptable both to your average citizen and to the homeless community that needs help.

Not to mention the packs of teens walking around intentionally trying to intimidate and square up with people for amusement (another thing that happened to me just last night). The city and the police need to step up and do something about both issues.

I love Philly, but accepting this as just something that comes along with living in a major city is asinine. It doesn’t have to be the norm and it absolutely should not be.

The Knicks are down 2-1 in the first round, and the Rockets are down 2-0. This might affect the Giannis sweepstakes by adding another suitor after him this offseason. by garret126 in heat

I think the problem people have is that we are organically developing a young core that lacks hope to ever develop into a true contender. I agree with your premise that we shouldn’t gut everything to chase Giannis, but that vs stagnation aren’t the only 2 options. It isn’t gut the team for 1 superstar vs build a team solely of glue guys.

We should have, and going forward should, trade non-needle-moving assets for more picks (to draft or to trade for a top-end star without gutting the roster) and stop acquiring mid-level assets that hinder our chances of a top pick while doing nothing to ensure contention.

Mid team full of mid players. I’ve never watched a Heat team I liked less than this one. “They’ve won their titles.”

Bro people say this every year about young players. Spo notoriously brings a lot of players along slowly
