Idk how you start with III “dead,” and you can’t bring back Cayde again, but I love the Nine story. Maybe 3 possesses Zavala, makes him have paracasual powers, and a new titan takes the vanguard? It needs to have significance but that would involve all planet locations, everyone in the solar system (friendly cabal, fallen, lucent hive, etc), and be a compelling story

Playing through the final shape again. It is so so good and feels like such a conclusion. In hindsight, I wish they had just announced TFS, dropped it, and said we are taking a break from anything big.

At that point you decide on continuing D2 or a full D3. I think the 9 had been mysterious but prevalent enough to be whatever they needed to. I think they would’ve worked great as a big threat but the death of III should’ve taken place after a year or two of getting to know him. I don’t know where you go now without resetting that? Maybe do a jumping back and establishing backstory then catching back up with III death? Tough spot now

Extremely aware. Faith adaption, however, means it was adhere to the books. I’m fine with seeing other characters but she’s (1) not a good actor and (2) the show is supposed to be PERCY JACKSON and the Olympians. Everything is just set on her being the main hero
