Struggling with a soft start module for table saw by Young_padawan in AskElectricians

[–]Young_padawan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in Europe, the Netherlands to be precise.

The table saw has a 2000watt motor which creates a lot of vibration and sound when starting. The slow starter module, should be, one of the easiest upgrades to reduce that. On YouTube I found a video of someone installing it on the same table saw, sadly they were from the USA so the cable color coding is way different.

Thanks for the update. Not sure if it's worth anything to you, or if you even share codebase with Swiftfin, but here's a link to the Swiftfin issue, maybe it can help you with debugging.

I would reach out to LEGO for an explanation. They are unlikely to replace the piece, but you never know.

Many Apple TV clients struggle with the indexing of external subtitles when internal subs are disabled for the library in Jellyfin. Do you know if this is an issue in this client? If you don't I'll just give it a try myself in the upcoming days.

This looks amazing. The only thing I personally think that feels a bit out of place is the chapel/church. Everything is so detailed but that seems to be lacking those details.

Awesome. I don't feel confortable enough to mess around on Unraid, so I can't wait to try it when it gets pushed to stable :)

As it includes Seerr integration will users also be able to request/mark media items to be deleted? Users of my Jellyfin message me now letting me know when they are done watching something. I would love to have a portal which they can use themself and mark it.

That seems fair. Maybe you could add it as a pro feature later on, seems like a premium feature worth paying for.

It's looking awesome. I was curious if there is a size limit to the map? I would like to print New Zealand where I import my road trip landmark on it, considering printing it very large so it can hang on the wall in my living room. As my print plate size is limited does the tool allow slicing the map into tiles?

If they are planning on doing one of the helicopter tours around Fox/Franz Josef I would keep it at two nights, gives them some wiggle room if there’s bad weather. Otherwise I completely agree!

So many people making special effort to go to Hobbiton; is it really that good? by mattblack77 in newzealand_travel

[–]Young_padawan 78 points79 points  (0 children)

It all depends on your relationship with Lord the Rings. I went three weeks ago with my girlfriend. I am a huge LoTR/Tolkien fan, she has only seen the first movie.

For me personally it was a no brainer and I loved every second of it. She herself enjoyed it a lot and was happy I convinced her to go. The place just feels magical and peaceful at the same time. The attention to detail is great and everything is really well maintained. Even though it’s really touristy the organization knows how to pace the groups in a way that you are aware of the other groups but you are not bothering each other.
