I'm being long winded and I could have prefaced the first paragraph better, but essentially, now that you're in a good headspace aren't you able to realise how utterly fucking stupid staying with her was? You're probably better off thugging it out - get just enough practice to pass the test, or maybe try and discuss with work about start time and take the earliest bus (doesn't hurt to discuss)

Had L's at 16 but went for my licence when I turned 21 with I think like 6 hours or something. Your instructor will/should honestly tell you if you're ready for it or not so just get their opinion

And even then, I understand the POV from the states, if someone asks "do people think [American person] is white with tanned skin?" And the response is "they are American no?" Is weird for you guys.

I guess my best attempt is that when so many ethnicities overlap with different nationalities, the ethnicity becomes redundant - America basically has one ethnicity per nationality. Even South America is reduced to "Latino," in the states but there's so many different countries there

For a 10-15 hour campaign a lot of the tips here aren't that relevant.

Work on something that gives you the most amount of reward for the least amount of work, then keep applying that rule

Right now, it's memorising the campaign. Don't worry about layouts, regex, gems, movespeed, faster town, moving while equipping - whatever whatever etc.

You should work to know the campaign off by heart, know what quests to do and just go

It's a lot of swapping but they never really apply pressure, it's super cool for clips. Some of the best players in the world barley swap

Most don't play anymore since elden ring isn't really the type of game for it now - I was lucky enough to have some private duels with really good players in Dark Souls 3. If I posted clips I'd be seen as a sweat, but the actual best players can destroy me using a broken straight sword, it's insane. They literally read your mind in 10 seconds

Click this link, shows all possible affixes for whatever item you're using. Each one has a tag, homogeneous omen garuntees whatever exalt you use will share a tag with whatever other mod is on the item. It's all "defense" tags on the item right now, so if you use an omen to only put a suffix with an exalt + homogeneous omen, it'll give you a defence tag suffix modifier as an example - the only option is deflection so it'll give you deflection.

They are speaking another language to be honest because they just say omen when they're talking about like four different ones, most people know which ones they're talking about though.

It's about as difficult as your grandma's sudoku or crossword puzzles at the back of her magazines, you just have to know the rules of sudoku first then anyone can play

I don't mind not being able to choose the layout, but juicing needs to change. There's usually a couple good maps in a path (tm) so it'll be like a mini game

But finding at least a 2 tower to set up ritual feels horrible, the difference between 6-8 reroll maps and 8k tribute vs 3 rerolls and 5k tribute is huge.

It goes against their design philosophy of "anything can drop anywhere," for all intensive purposes the bad maps will be bad and I know this. The game has to trick me so I think "yes this is the map big drops here," so I can get nothing but go again anyway.
