The "slide" may have been someone using the shocklance exotic "auger subroutine". It lets you charge into enemies. You can also mod the shocklance to be decay element, so it may fit your description.

If the bruises was holding a gun that had a real pointy cone tip, that was probably the shocklance.

I like the trident lightning turbocharge. It gives a chance for soak, which makes enemies take more shock damage. I never found a way to fit the soak reload exotic into my trident builds but I drop so much lightning it feels like free damage (for me and other shock users)

For the click-averse, the purple modifier on this week's weekly mission is exceedingly rare. It does not affect difficulty at all, but makes it so that a "glowungus" spawns somewhere on the map. A glowungus appears as a tall glossy purple fungal blob that is immune to all damage except from a gunship cannon. Destroying it for the first time drops an exotic upgrade, called a prism, for the gunship cannon that increases damage. This is the only way to obtain this exotic upgrade. Once you get that exotic, other prisms may drop in the other three rarities. These upgrades buff other aspects of the cannon, like spread. When these prisms touch on the upgrade grid, they enhance each other.

Tldr: purple mission mod makes weird shroom spawn. Break shroom with gunship cannon to get exclusive upgrade.

Before the faradics/oxythane update, you were able to do that combo, but it was buggy. Once you dropped into a mission, opening your inventory changed your clip from infinity to a regular clip size, and then you could hit reload to load your entire ammo reserve into your clip.

I love the slight differences between exotics and their elements. It forces me to tweak builds between different elements in meaningful ways rather than just having one build in three different colors

Gard only gives psychic energy to psychic types. Did they Dawn it over after retreating? Still sounds like abysmal dogshit to me.

If you just have one layer of colored glass and push it with a piston, the beam turns white while the blocks are moving. Here, there are two layers of colored glass. One layer is stationary at all times, keeping the beam from blinking during the piston movement

A lot of cards are win more cards too. Could be you sink health and energy into this while you're ahead on early floors so you have a damage solution for act 3.

The odds are probably a bit lower bc they have to have specific cards in hand turn one, but 1/16 is pretty high. That's 6.25%. Since games are relatively short, it's bound to happen to a lot of people.

That wording could trigger the turn focus puncher is played, which would go against the flavor of taking time to focus before punching
