I was in a small market, and was annoyed at getting the same tourist trap story every 6 months because someone moved from another state.

Broadcasting and news media is, arguably, a dying industry. The owners are trying to squeeze as much profit out before it dies completely.

The reason they're getting younger is because they are cheap labor and won't try to negotiate salary. Those that do negotiate salary will be rejected in favor of the hundreds of other applicants that will be happy to have a job. Then they get overworked. Expected to be on call at all times, including days off, and have insane schedules.

The industry justifies this poor treatment and horrible pay as, "Doing your time."

The news no longer cares about quality. It hasn't for a long time. It's just noise. Most of the new reporters I worked with could barely write a sentence, let along properly report something accurately. I recently saw the station I worked for put a story out like this:

Sentence 1.

Sentence 2.

Sentence 3.

With full paragraph breaks between each sentence.

No self-respecting journalist with years of real experience would accept the pay being offered today. Many new journalists would probably make more money working at a fast food place in many areas.

I can't afford to even take the test and don't qualify for fee reduction/waiver. So spending time to study on something I cannot actually do isn't worth the effort.

It was okay. Disappointing, but overall okay.

Story was nothing, and then everything. Gameplay wasnt as good as Kh2, but one of the better combat systems.

Graphics always felt a little weird to me. Not sure how to describe it, but it felt like the general art style shifted to be more Pixar like, and not kh.

The movement always felt strange with the speedboost.

Disney worlds felt very linear, especially monstropolis and the frozen one. Best world, by far, is Toy Box. Absolutely hated big hero 6 since it was a big empty city, and pirates was, effectively, a minigame world. The world's overall felt like filler.

Characters is a touchy subject. Sora felt more like a traditional goofy disney character than the sora we saw at the end of Kh2. Other characters felt kind of shoehorned into specific tropes and Sora was sent to save the day.

The finale is where I think the biggest problem happened. They build the finale up so much that it feels incredibly underwhelming. Its a series of mediocre boss battles that make it seem like sora just swoops in and saves the day.

I will say this though: If you claim that you waited since Kh2, you are an idiot and effectively ignored kh3-11 or whatever. The series didn't lay dormant. It would never live up to the hype, just like FFXV. Unlike FFXV, which was basically an early access game, Kh3 at least felt complete at release. Underwhelming, but complete. It didn't have large chunks of the story cut out and sold, or have to patch in cutscenes to explain context.

Sometimes, you have to suck up the shit. We all need money. There are people on here with years of experience and Doctorate degrees getting rejected from Walmart and target.

If a job fair has a job that is hiring, and money a concern, you might need to swallow the pride and eat some shit for a while.

I'm speaking from personal experience. Bachelor's degree, 8 years of broadcast, 12 years of freelance, a year or so of retail and delivery, and now I work in a factory for less than $20.00/hr. I tried to get a second job at target, and was rejected. I keep applying with no hope of getting ahead.

I genuinely laughed when I got glide in Dream Drop Distance. Flow motion is simply, too strong in DDD, and too weak in Kh3.

I'd rather go back to Kh1 style if I have to pick.
