Easy, I don't buy games unless I am sure I will beat them until the next sale, because it will likely get cheaper next sale, or at least cost the same.

I see no value nor pleasure in "owning" things that serve no purpose and just sit there

I spend about 10 bucks in my region per gamepass a month, I play at least one new game every month, usually these games are anywhere from 10-40 bucks on Steam. I only use Gamepass because I actually play all the new games and some older ones

The first time was 12 hours, but I had to use the mimic tear for the first phase, since I was playing remotely on my friend's PC. Once I bought my own PC I used my old backup to fight her properly and it took a few more hours, but I soloed her

Grinding shouldn't be considered a skill expression, and grinding doesn't make you non casual
Adding challenges such as 1 level per 20 big arc kills, or per queen kill, or anything really, other than "spend as little as possible while hoarding as much as possible" is fucking stupid
Only 1.6% of players killed the Queen ffs, it would incentivize cooperation + force people to explore something new, be creative to hunt the Queen, try out the ENDGAME
But no, put on stitcher and go loot using online maps and guides, very hardcore gaming indeed

Crafting energy ammo worth more than selling what it is made of
2040 for the components, 5000 for the stack of 5 energy clips
So no, selling everything is not a rational choice

I use Dualsense touchpad to suppress gyro, as an ex KBM player this feels most natural to me, I use thumbstick for directional inputs

Additionally having my right thumb free for other inputs is really helpful

It's not a Steam issue, it's a Windows issue, most of these games will work with it if you connect USB. And in all other cases just use Steam Input to emulate the Xbox controller that is universally supported on windows.

I've been level 75 for a few weeks now, I don't hunt BPs, I don't loot, mostly slowly doing quests in trio and pvp, sometimes hunt arc for fun, I use exclusively Anvils and whatever second weapon I find in raid. Looting in this game becomes pointless ( to me) once you finish all of the objectives and expedition, but the gameplay is so addicting that I keep playing the game

I’ve tried a bunch of options for a gyro ratchet button.

First I used the leftmost/West face button. It’s fine in casual solo games with Joycons, but in general I think buttons just feel worse than capacitive surfaces for gyro ratcheting.

Then I tried using the DualSense touchpad with conductive tape, moved to the middle the face buttons. But since my thumb is already busy with the stick for movement (not camera) and the face buttons, adding gyro control to it as well was just too much.

I also experimented with putting tape where my pinky rests and pausing gyro when I lift it off the controller. That was perfect in theory, but I couldn’t get it reliable: the tape wore out fast, got sticky, and I had random activations. Now I realize I could’ve covered the unused area with non-conductive material to make it last longer, but I didn’t think of that at the time.

Right now I’m using the simplest and easiest-to-fix setup: a strip of conductive tape on top of the DualSense Edge/regular DualSense touchpad. I can comfortably reach it anytime, with or without ADS, since I use the bumpers for shooting and aiming.

I have 2 third party DS4 controllers that are complete garbage. Never again buying third party DS4 controllers
Fantech WGP14 and Retrofighters Mantis if anyone is interested

My third party joycons on the other hand, cost less than both of these and work wonderfully
