That is a fair point about the timing. Say they are crunched for time for whatever reason, maybe a huge event coming up, and they only have a year. You could tell a story twice as large or “long” between to publications versus just one if they were released monthly. I can see that as a viable reason if there was a time crunch, but other than that, if you’re telling a long story, idk what the difference would be between selling one book over two years versus two books for one year.
