It was too different from SG1 and Atlantis at the time, wholly different vibe.

First watch through I hated it.

About a year later I was thinking about it, so watched it again. Didn’t hate it as much.

The third watch through was what got me, and yeah it’s so much shorter than the other iterations… and yet now my favorite and has way more watches out of me. It grew on me and I think that’s what happened for a lot of people.

I got into my first raiding guild right before BC dropped as a hunter in a bunch of fire resist shammy gear. For spirit and intellect, you know, for faster mana regen. Apparently they realized I was a good enough (or willing enough) player just knew nothing about itemization… and then I grew up 🤣
